  1. Quick Text - Mark as Obsolete / Deleted

    Include the ability to "Delete" or "Make Obsolete" QuickText items at an administrative level. Currently, if you use the Quick Text "Manager", it will only allow you to add, edit, or delete the items that the currently logged in user created. Therefore, it prevents a manager from cleaning-up this list once it gets cluttered with unused or old entries.

  2. Need the ability to scan Documents directly in Document Manager of EMR using PDF format

    Currently, MicroMD is only supporting the jpg format and does not provide the user the option of deciding whether they want the format of the document scanned to be pdf of jpg. This is causing problems when multiple pages need to be scanned and viewed by the physician as one document. We need the ability to scan documents into Document Manager in more than one format and allow physicians capability to scroll through multiple pages of a document using the next button. Also, please make sure we can change the scanner settings if we want to before scanning..

  3. Patient Portal Account Report

    Add the ability to run a report for a given date (or date range) to view a listing of patients that had a patient portal account created on that day/range. Practices are requesting this to be able to view which patient's seen each day were activated on the portal.

  4. Ability to print Workflow Communication items from Chart Reports

    Practices need to have the ability to print the entire chart -which may include phone messages, mail, reminders ...etc. Currently you need to print each item individually. If added to the Chart Reports with the ability to select a date range and which types of communication it would save time.

  5. Who's NOT on the portal

    Should be able to run a report in EMR that list the patients that are not on the portal. This list could be used to market the portal to those patients via a phone call, letter, or demandforce email.

  6. Add ability to select default lab company if practice has multiple lab interfaces so the most used (delab will display first in the dropdown

    Add ability to set default lab company by user if practice has multiple lab interfaces so the most used (default) lab will display first in the dropdown list. They now display alphabetically. Example... client has Quest and Bio-Reference labs. Quest is the most used (default) lab but it shows after Bio-Reference causing the user to have to change this dropdown on almost all lab orders. It also causes a problem with sending a request to the wrong lab through the interface if they don't make the change.

  7. Routing History

    I would like to request a feature request that would separate or (have like a subtotal time) when patients are checked out. Like I said before, the patients are checked out when we account for checked out status in the routing history. Wait times calculations should reflect true patient wait times and should stop at checked out. When doing random audits, and the provider has not signed the encounter, true wait time appears at the checked out status. But when the provider signs the encounter and it changes to seen today, the total waited is calculating the time it took…

  8. Enhancement for Growth Chart to be able to Print/Fax and add to Batch Basket

    Growth charts for Pediatric Practice have to be faxed/sent to specialist from time to time. It would be nice if you could print to the fax or batch basket. Currently you have to print out, then scan, then fax to Provider specialty

  9. Notify multiple providers when attaching a document to a chart

    Our medical scanner, from the desktop, opens her incoming fax queue, opens one of the documents from there. Chooses a patient, then at the bottom right of the window, can select one provider to notify as she submits the attachment. We would like to be able to select multiple providers so that we do not create more than one instance of the document on the patients chart. Also be able to select groups that are setup.

  10. Scheduled Visits to display SEQUENCE BILLED icon when the charge related to the encounter is actually posted in the PM.

    Have the 'Encounter icon' change color from it's the teal blue sheet of paper encounter icon to a green dollar bill (or whatever) icon that would indicate the charge is POSTED in the PM for that particular encounter. (Not indicating 'billed' out of EMR but actually POSTED in the PM).

  11. Rule Manager additional logic

    It would be nice if the rule manager had more logic when triggering items. For instance I created a rule that when saving an encounter and the patient was X weight parameters and X age parameters (to help with MU on BMI) that it would tell the provider to add the appropriate procedure code(s) to the encounter. However when the code has been added and they go back and forth in the note they get this rule over and over upon saving. Once the correct code has been entered it needs to be marked complete somehow so to keep this…

  12. Prioritize Referral Orders

    Ability to choose Priority level for Referral Orders. Add an option to choose Priority level for Referral Orders.

    Requested Steps to define spec:

    1. Open patient chart
    2. Go to Medical Information
    3. Orders
    4. Referral Order
    5. Click on Add
    6. Select a Priority Level
    7. Click Ok
    To view:
    1. Go to Desktop
    2. Select Orders in Desktop Navigator
    3. Select Referral Order in Type

    Expected Result:
    when creating a Referral Order, there should be an option to choose a Priority level just like in all other Orders.

  14. Auto-fill height when adding vital signs

    We input patient vital signs on a daily or weekly basis. We only measure upon admission or once every few months for the adolescents. However, we do rely on the BMI. We have asked staff to simply copy the information from the previous day, but it opens our records up to substantial human error. Could this field be auto-populated based on the previously recorded vitals but be able to be overwritten if we do measure the patient again? This would save our nurses substantial time in correcting/deleting and re-entering these values.

  15. Print option on popup Patient Portal patient login name/password and way to view the information again after popup.

    currently, there is no way to print the generated patient login name and password when the program generates it within EMR. There needs to be a print button. Also, once the popup window is off the screen, there is no way to view what the system generated for the patient login name and password for the patient portal. There should be a way to view the generated login name and password, after the popup is off the screen.

    The Portal button in the chart can open the setup window to see the portal user name. Access to the password is done from the portal administration where the current password reset for the portal resides. The EMR does not receive updates to the passwords after the initial setup so having the initial password which may have already been changed could be confusing.

  16. ALLOW NURSING STAFF TO ADD NDC TO IMMUNIZATIONS AND FLOW TO PM

    There should be a field in the immunization administration area for NDC and that information should 'clinigrate' to PM pending charges. SInce the nursing staff is entering all other information (lot, expiration, etc.) they should be allowed to record the NDC of the drug/immunization given. The billing dept should not have to find the staff member who gave the shot to determine what was administered in terms of NDC.

  18. Allow 5 Axis Diagnosis

    Allow the ability to organize diagnoses by the five axes which is standard in psychiatric care. Currently, the diagnoses are all grouped together which is ineffecient for a phsychiatric practice or a practice with psychiatric services.

  19. Please remove full name of logged-on user from footer when they print letters

    Description of Request: Currently, at least on versions below PMR 8.1, when a user writes and prints a letter from either the desktop or from within the patient chart, the full name of the user who is doing the printing appears in a footer at the lower right side of the page. The users at this practice have requested that the full name of the user be removed from the footer, as they just don't want their names present on this patient document.

  20. MicroMD EMR Enhancements

    When reviewing documents in DMS, can we add a signed and date button that the provider can click on to insert his initials and todays date on the document?

    This would decrease the number of clicks required by the provider. Results would be increased productivity for the provider
