  1. Notify multiple providers when attaching a document to a chart

    Our medical scanner, from the desktop, opens her incoming fax queue, opens one of the documents from there. Chooses a patient, then at the bottom right of the window, can select one provider to notify as she submits the attachment. We would like to be able to select multiple providers so that we do not create more than one instance of the document on the patients chart. Also be able to select groups that are setup.

  2. Need delete button for encounters posted to the wrong patient

    Am I the only one that wants such a feature? I must find out where people are finding these perfect providers that never ever make a mistake. They need to create some sort of ability for the EMR administrator to do this. Have EMR track who deleted what and when so there is a record.

  3. Who's NOT on the portal

    Should be able to run a report in EMR that list the patients that are not on the portal. This list could be used to market the portal to those patients via a phone call, letter, or demandforce email.

  4. Need the ability to scan Documents directly in Document Manager of EMR using PDF format

    Currently, MicroMD is only supporting the jpg format and does not provide the user the option of deciding whether they want the format of the document scanned to be pdf of jpg. This is causing problems when multiple pages need to be scanned and viewed by the physician as one document. We need the ability to scan documents into Document Manager in more than one format and allow physicians capability to scroll through multiple pages of a document using the next button. Also, please make sure we can change the scanner settings if we want to before scanning..

  5. MicroMD EMR Enhancements

    DMS

    When reviewing documents in DMS, can we add a signed and date button that the provider can click on to insert his initials and todays date on the document?

    This would decrease the number of clicks required by the provider. Results would be increased productivity for the provider

  7. Transgender Patients- Add Birth Name Field from Demographics that would display next to legal name when Chart is opened

    We have a large population of transgender patients and appreciate all the new menu options. In the Demographic section there will birth names, etc available in ver 13.5, request that these would display next to the legal name when the chart is opened and print on demographic reports- maybe in parenthesis. This is a very common request for trans patients.

  8. Patient Portal Account Report

    Add the ability to run a report for a given date (or date range) to view a listing of patients that had a patient portal account created on that day/range. Practices are requesting this to be able to view which patient's seen each day were activated on the portal.

  9. Rule Manager additional logic

    It would be nice if the rule manager had more logic when triggering items. For instance I created a rule that when saving an encounter and the patient was X weight parameters and X age parameters (to help with MU on BMI) that it would tell the provider to add the appropriate procedure code(s) to the encounter. However when the code has been added and they go back and forth in the note they get this rule over and over upon saving. Once the correct code has been entered it needs to be marked complete somehow so to keep this…

  10. Referral status of COMPLETED

    There is currently no "Completed" status available in referrals. If we choose "results received" and identify that as our completion notation, we might potentially miss results that were received but not reviewed. Adding a status of Completed would ensure that staff were accountable for ensuring that the referral appointment was kept, results were received and reviewed, patient was notified of results (if needed), and THEN it was complete.   11. Patient Portal permanent Do Not Publish

    There are numerous situations in which we would not want an item published to the portal, but there is not currently a way to mark an item as DNP, and it STAYS DNP until unmarked. i.e. minor patient has STD test; we can mark it DNP now, but the next time pt is seen, it will auto publish.

  12. Time Restriction on Unsigned Encounters

    Ability to set a limit in the manager for the length of days an unsigned encounter can stay unsigned. Same result as other restrictions where the provider is required to sign the note before creating new encounters.

    It would be nice to have the fax number on that too or have that auto header easily editable.micromd needs to be modified for fax header parameters to include sender's fax information; WV legislature RX faxing requires this

  14. Option to prevent signing an encounter that does not have any diagnosis/procedure code listed and/or an encounter level set.

    Fordland Clinic would like an option to require a diagnosis/procedure and/or also require an encounter level set before an encounter can be signed. This could be an option set in the EMR Manager and set on a per user basis. This would work in a similar fashion to required fields in the PM when a new user is created.

  16. User date and time stamps

    Remove the printed by and date stamp on mail merge letters. Clients feel patients do not need to know who printed the letter. Remove the date and time stamp from the plan details on the encounter text, particularly on the revised encounters. Clients are complaining these dates are confusing and misleading.

  17. Attachments to orders older than 6 months

    When adding an attachment to an order. The drop down of list of orders is only within the last 6 months. Our practices enter orders at the time of physicals for mammagrams. they don't always coinside with the time of the physical exams. This needs to be parameterized not hard coded.

    The Immunizations screen should sort the dates administered, given, missed, and future and have them in chronological order for each vaccine. They are currently listed in the order they are inputed.

  20. Lab Order

    Description of Request: When creating a lab order in an encounter, copy the diagnosis from the encounter into the order. When printing the order, print the practice's fax number and the ICD Code. Be specific, detailed where and how this function would work and enhance the users experience.
    Requested Steps to define spec: Key component
    Expected Result:
    Actual Result: Give result
    Impact on Workflow: Printed lab orders have to have fax number and ICD code written on them.
