  1. Using Stock should allow <1 in Qty field

    When administering vaccines from stock the qty will not allow <1 in the qty field. We typically use ml for "units" and need to be able to use 0.5 ml of a vaccine.

    Example: Vaccine A vial holds 10ml and is given at 0.5ml per patient meaning it will provide 20 dosages.
    Current workaround is not to use ml and use "each/unit", double the qty of stock added and use 1 for each patient. Using ml is proper documentation though.

  2. Nightly SQL Job to Populate Automatic Screening and Prevention / Immunization Programs

    Add a job (or add an additional step the current job) that runs nightly to auto-populate any patients that meet the criteria set for an automatic screening and prevention or immunization program. Running this at night will serve two purposes:

    1) Prevent the users from having to manually open and update each applicable chart.
    2) Minimize impacts on applying the templates during production hours.

  3. Track Time From PM Check-In, Through Encounter/Stations [Patient Router], To Check-Out

    Include the ability in the EMR and/or PM system to track the time it takes for a patient to flow through the practice. This would include the arrival/check-in within the PM, then through any/all stations within the EMR, and then the check-out/seen option within the EMR. This would involve collaboration with both applications to accomplish.

  4. Re-Assigning Orders

    Description of Request: When Re-Assigning user task in the EMR, we would like to see an option to re-assign orders (labs, nursing, procedure, etc.)

    Requested Steps to define spec: Add a selection for orders to the Re-Assign user tasks area within the Administration section of the application.

  5. Transgender Patients- Add Birth Name Field from Demographics that would display next to legal name when Chart is opened

    We have a large population of transgender patients and appreciate all the new menu options. In the Demographic section there will birth names, etc available in ver 13.5, request that these would display next to the legal name when the chart is opened and print on demographic reports- maybe in parenthesis. This is a very common request for trans patients.

  7. Referral status of COMPLETED

    There is currently no "Completed" status available in referrals. If we choose "results received" and identify that as our completion notation, we might potentially miss results that were received but not reviewed. Adding a status of Completed would ensure that staff were accountable for ensuring that the referral appointment was kept, results were received and reviewed, patient was notified of results (if needed), and THEN it was complete.   9. Need the ability to scan Documents directly in Document Manager of EMR using PDF format

    Currently, MicroMD is only supporting the jpg format and does not provide the user the option of deciding whether they want the format of the document scanned to be pdf of jpg. This is causing problems when multiple pages need to be scanned and viewed by the physician as one document. We need the ability to scan documents into Document Manager in more than one format and allow physicians capability to scroll through multiple pages of a document using the next button. Also, please make sure we can change the scanner settings if we want to before scanning..

  10. Patient Portal Account Report

    Add the ability to run a report for a given date (or date range) to view a listing of patients that had a patient portal account created on that day/range. Practices are requesting this to be able to view which patient's seen each day were activated on the portal.

  11. Routing History

    I would like to request a feature request that would separate or (have like a subtotal time) when patients are checked out. Like I said before, the patients are checked out when we account for checked out status in the routing history. Wait times calculations should reflect true patient wait times and should stop at checked out. When doing random audits, and the provider has not signed the encounter, true wait time appears at the checked out status. But when the provider signs the encounter and it changes to seen today, the total waited is calculating the time it took…

  12. MicroMD EMR Enhancements

    DMS

    When reviewing documents in DMS, can we add a signed and date button that the provider can click on to insert his initials and todays date on the document?

    This would decrease the number of clicks required by the provider. Results would be increased productivity for the provider

  13. Encounters - Not to be billed

    Encounters with no billable data should default to a "Not to be billed" status until billable items are added to the note. If no billable items are ever added and the note is signed, the items should remain in this status and not automatically send to PM when the EMR Manager is set to send upon signing. This will help keep the Billing Prep window clean for billers.   14. Add Patient Allergies and NDC# To Prescription Templates

    When using the Prescription Template Builder, the client would like to be able to insert Patient Allergies and the NDC# into the string fields.

    Requested Steps:
    1. Open EMR
    2. Go to Desktop->Administration
    3. Under 'Miscellaneous Tasks' choose 'Prescription Template Manager'
    4. Open up an existing template or create a new one
    5. Add a string field and search the 'Defaults' for Patient Allergies
    6. Also try searching for an option to insert NDC#

    Expected Results: To be able to enter Patient Allergies and NDC# in the template

  15. Lock phone messages once marked as completed.

    Clients would like an option to lock a phone message after it has been marked as done. Once locked a user would no longer be able to reply to any message within that chain.

  16. End Date for Screening and Prevention

    Add end date, age range or allow active dates to be defined in Screening and Prevention.
    Requested Steps to define spec: Allows Screening and Prevention programs to be automatically deactivated after a certain period of time or after a certain age. Would be set up in the details along with the begin date and how often it should be repeated.
    Expected Result: No way to define an end date
    Actual Result: Ability to define an end date
    Impact on Workflow: currently have to go in and manually deactivate screening and prevention programs for each patient.

    Description of Request: Change the behavior so that screen and prevention templates that are set to auto apply do so without extra user intervention.

  18. icd-10 update

    Please make a faster way to make a code obsolete. For example, the code K85.9 is no longer an active code for 2017. This code exists in my list over 20 times. I have to edit each one to click make obsolete or change the code. There should be a way to make the change on the code level instead of the description level. So I could select that code and make it obsolete once, or create a faster way to change theses codes. This is one example of many

  19. We need a check box created in Health Maintenance where we chart our vaccine information (under administer and then is currently says Public

    We need a check box created in Health Maintenance where we chart our vaccine information (under administer and then is currently says Publically supplied yes or no) It needs to say VFC Eligible? and then we need 4 check boxs with information out beside them. This will not only save time but it will let us check if we have verified the pt insurance instead of having to do 3 different things for our state visit.

  20. Adding problems to problem list

    Our providers would like, when they are adding a problem to the problem list from the encounter, for the problem to be greyed-out if it's already in the problem list. That way they cannot add the same problem to the problem list multiple times.
