EMR "Copy" User Function

Ability to "Copy" an existing user. Most practices like to create a new user identical to an existing user. It would be nice to be able to "Copy" the items that are not user-specific and require the user to enter the specific items such as First Name, Last Name, Suffix, username, and password.

Gathering Feedback  ·  AdminProduct Management (Admin, Henry Schein MicroMD) responded  · 

While we plan this feature, we are interested in what all things a user would want to 'copy' to a new user when performing that action.  Some of them may include but are not limited to:


- Role Permissions

- Group Affiliations

- System/User Settings

- Personal Cliniguides/Templates/Etc.

- UI Customization (Chart Navigator/Desktop Navigator/etc.)


What else are you interested in seeing available when copying a user from an existing?

    The aforementioned items sound perfect, especially

    - Role Permissions
    - Group Affiliations
    - System/User Settings

    Essentially the same concept as copying a user in Active Directory would be perfect.

    It would be beneficial to be able to copy a user/group settings when creating new users/groups in the PM. This would be the same concept as copy a user/group in Active Directory.
