  1. Lock incoming faxes that another user has open

    If a user is filing a fax, the system should lock the fax so that another user can't also open the fax and file it. Currently everyone can open the same fax and file it at the same time.

  2. Encounter - Add Specialist more than 1x

    When adding a specialist to the encounter, the system prevents you from adding the same one more than one time. Would like to be able to add the same one more than one time rather than having to duplicate a specialist in the manager to accomplish the task.
    The system allows you to do that to procedures but warns you, this would be a good way to handle referrals.

  3. Form Template/Encounter Report - Problem

    While I understand the Form Template is meant to printout using the "print form" option.....it would help if it could also print all info onto the Encounter Report.

    If you use encounter buttons, or medical info buttons on a Form Template, whatever is used there will print on an Encounter Report anyway. However, checkboxes, picklists, labels, textboxes, etc. will not print on the Encounter Report.

    Can you come up with a way that the user can have any info on the Form print on the Encounter Report?

  4. Add Batch button to preview window in DMS

    Add the batch button to the DMS screen as shown in the image(document view) below to reduce clicks when handling multiple documents that need to be added to a batch basket. each DMS view have it’s own set of buttons and functions? If this right click menu was available in search view, that would be incredible. I’ll submit this to myvoice at some point in time… I just don’t have time to submit everything right now.   5. Form Template - Lock Textboxes - No "Freetyping" Allowed

    Text boxes are often used in the Form Templates. They can be attached to buttons like Medical Info and Encounter (SOAP). It can be too intuitive for some providers to neglect the button attached to the textbox, and "freetype" in the box instead.

    When that happens, it is almost impossible to print what is freetyped in the textbox. The typed portion (non button use) won't print on an Encounter Report and printing the Form may not help either.

    Please add a feature when creating form templates to lock textboxes attached to template buttons so that freetyping isn't allowed at all.…

  6. Trigger Rules in Bill Builder Window

    Would like for the rules to trigger when editing the Bill Builder window when for procedure codes and diagnosis codes.

    Requested Steps to define Spec: In the Bill Builder window, when the wrong code is entered, the rule should be triggered.

    Expected Result: For the EMR rules to be triggered in the Bill Builder window.

    Impact on Workflow: Inadequate codes are being crossed over to billing. This causes the billing people to have to go to the provider's office and have them fix the issue. It stops the workflow until the billing person gets back to their desk.

  7. Problem List order option

    My client asked that we add the feature to sort the Problem List as entered, allowing an up and down arrow for re-ordering as needed. This is a therapy practice that uses the same diagnoses for most all sessions and the provider needs to see the Primary diagnosis at the top followed by secondary and so on with the chronic issues not being treated by the provider near the bottom. If the order option is not feasible perhaps a way to easily notate with number or alpha character beside the problem.

  8. Test Results - Patient Phone Show Primary Phone

    Within the Desktop > Test Results area, the "Patient Phone" field displays the "Home" phone number of the patient. This has no dependence on which phone number is set as the primary and/or secondary phone number within the patient's account. It would make sense and be very useful to have the PRIMARY phone number display in this area, regardless of which phone number that would be. With this always displaying a home phone number, the user would need to open the patient's chart in order to determine if that was the correct phone number to call in order to discuss…

  9. Auto-populate text while typing

    Was suggested by a client to have the EMR have an option where it could auto-populate text while typing that pulls in words from the dictionary, or list words that are similar to what is currently being typed into various EMR text fields.

  10. Add the User drop down list to the Filters under Attachments, Desktop tab.

    Would like to see a User drop down list added under Attachments on the Desktop tab.
    Would like a user drop down list to select other users and view their list of attachments that they have been identified to view and mark as viewed/sign off on. This could be added to the Physician, Practice Manager, or Administrator roles or could be an additional function if it isn’t added to all users.

  11. Quick Text - Mark as Obsolete / Deleted

    Include the ability to "Delete" or "Make Obsolete" QuickText items at an administrative level. Currently, if you use the Quick Text "Manager", it will only allow you to add, edit, or delete the items that the currently logged in user created. Therefore, it prevents a manager from cleaning-up this list once it gets cluttered with unused or old entries.

  12. Add ability to select default lab company if practice has multiple lab interfaces so the most used (delab will display first in the dropdown

    Add ability to set default lab company by user if practice has multiple lab interfaces so the most used (default) lab will display first in the dropdown list. They now display alphabetically. Example... client has Quest and Bio-Reference labs. Quest is the most used (default) lab but it shows after Bio-Reference causing the user to have to change this dropdown on almost all lab orders. It also causes a problem with sending a request to the wrong lab through the interface if they don't make the change.

  13. Patient Recall

    When doing Patient Recall for the Core 12 measure of meaningful use for Preventive Care, one can only choose one provider name to "sign" at the bottom of a mail merge that includes the provider signature.

    In a practice where there are multiple providers, patients will get a letter signed by a provider that may not be their primary care provider at that practice. Confusing to patients. Unfair to the actual provider.

  14. Add the ability to view password reset acitivity in the patient portal secure chart

    When the password for a patient in secure chart is reset, the same activity should be recorded in the patient log section in secure chart.
    The staff not knowing that the password was reset, try to reset the password again and making the 1st password reset useless. If the password reset tracking was available to the staff, they would not reset the password the second time.

  15. Enhancement for Growth Chart to be able to Print/Fax and add to Batch Basket

    Growth charts for Pediatric Practice have to be faxed/sent to specialist from time to time. It would be nice if you could print to the fax or batch basket. Currently you have to print out, then scan, then fax to Provider specialty

  16. Notify multiple providers when attaching a document to a chart

    Our medical scanner, from the desktop, opens her incoming fax queue, opens one of the documents from there. Chooses a patient, then at the bottom right of the window, can select one provider to notify as she submits the attachment. We would like to be able to select multiple providers so that we do not create more than one instance of the document on the patients chart. Also be able to select groups that are setup.

  18. Ability to change the DMS view while in DMS

    Currently we have to go to user preferences to change the DMS view from folder, search or preview. Please add a drop down selector at the top so we can change the view on the fly.

  20. Default encounter report printing to custom report

    When printing encounter report from tool bar, default the selected report to the last used - expert setting.
    AND/OR if possible, if wizard used for that encounter with custom encounter report attached, default that custom report when printing encounter report from tool bar.

    Once you select “Encounter Report” on either print option, the window below pops up for you to select your options for printing. You can see that the system automatically chooses the MicroMD standard report option instead of populating the report template that was attached the wizard template for this encounter.
