  1. report templates

    On SVE, report, and select template, shows a brief overview of the visit. Wants an option to show most recent items with a range. Is there a way to get more options for time spans (for example last three months for labs, most recent immunizations not the entire historical list)

    too much info prints - need most current info only

    date of last immunization given as opposed to every date
    labs for the past 1 mon or 3 months not the entire year

  2. single view - sort by column headers

    when in the past medical history there is no option to sort "procedures" "labs" etc -

    need a header filter for sorting - esp. the procedures

  3. Ability to clear expert settings

    Implement a system prompt that ask if you want to clear your expert settings when you uncheck the box.

    We need this feature because it is often that a provider starts out working at a primary location but then starts floating to other locations. We have templates by location that default some of the assigned plan items but as we know expert settings are designed to override that. If it would clear the options the provider could easily go to the next location and start using the templated items.

  4. Next Appt. in Test Results/Desktop navigator

    The providers have requested a "next appointment" line in the Test Results tab under the desktop navigator. When reviewing their lab results here, it would be nice to know when the patients next appt. is so they know what kind of action to take in notifying the patient of there results. Right now they have to open the patient's chart to see this information. If there could be a Next Appt. line populate at the bottom in the preview pane, that would be wonderful!

  5. Spacing on printed Med Info Report

    When looking at the Medical Information Report, the Problem List can be hard to read if there are a lot of entries for a patient. Some providers like to add comments to the diagnosis codes, and when printed, the area becomes cluttered looking.

    Some sort of spacing after each diagnosis code or bolding of the diagnosis code and description could potentially make this area easier to read and cleaner looking.

  6. Client name and pronouns update

    In order to be more gender affirming and inclusive, we should be able to search a client by their updated name, while having a separate section for their legal name (for insurance purposes). There must be a way to code it so that an encounter is sent through with their legal name for billing but their updated name is how we look them up in the system. We should also include a client's pronouns in the chart by their name, age, and DOB to prevent misgendering clients.   7. Sort Patient Portal Users in EMR Manager

    Within the EMR Manager, when you add/edit/delete a portal user (Communication > Patient Portal > Edit > Step 4 of 4), the listed users are in order by the date they were entered into the application. Likewise the list is the same when creating the mapping on a user within the EMR (Access > Map to Ext Sys > MicroMD Patient Portal).

    Not having this list in a useful order is a nightmare for practices with a large number of users. For instance, if the organization has 100 patient portal users and one of the users needs to have his/her…

  8. Add Right - additional restrictions

    Adjust the rights for "Add templates to shared" to allow you to check off each template type (same style as unidentified items). We have large organizations that needs to limit Shared access to specific areas.

  9. Pre-populate Questionnaire Answers

    When doing questionnaires in the EMR, whether they be Health Screenings or Behavioral Health, a lot of the questions have the same answers. It would be nice to be able to either have a reference look-up of the most commonly used answers, or the ability to copy answers from a previous question you just entered. This would save a lot of time.

  10. Select more than one diagnosis code in Medical History

    When adding diagnosis codes to the medical history, selecting more than one code at a time by holding the control button on the keyboard and click on multiple codes to insert would make the process quicker. This would be nice to apply to forms as well.

  11. spell check

    It would be beneficial to have an appropriate spell check, not one that checks every single word, throughout the entire system, but specifically in the encounter section. The current spell check checks every single work in the encounter. It would be nice if the spell check only checked misspelled words. It would be even more helpful if the spellcheck was similar to a Word or Google document where it would underline in red if a word was misspelled. Thanks!

  12. Open multiple attachments at a one time.

    Before version 18 you could have multiple attachments open. Now you cannot open more than one attachment at a time. I know there is an option to open DMS and open multiple documents there but being able to open multiple attachments is a lot easier for our providers and staff.

  13. Organize and Process Orders By Location

    Include the ability to create and organize orders by a given location/department). For instance, for multi-location practices, often providers/users float between locations. But with the ability to assign orders to a given location, the organization can create/filter orders that were placed for that individual location. This enhancement would need to include both the ability to specify the location on the order as well as a filter option on the Desktop similar to the provider filter.

    If the order is created within an encounter, it could default to use the location where the encounter is created. If the order is created…

  14. Changing Shading on Screening and Prevention Dates

    As of right now, the due dates for Screening and Prevention do not change colors until the day the program becomes due. This doesn't feel like ample time to give the clinic and patient enough of a heads up to get the patient in in a timely manner.

    A practice preference setting in the EMR Manager could be used to say "mark S & P as due ____ days in advance rather than have it marked as due on the day of."

  16. procedure orders

    within an encounter the procedure order is always routed to my assistant "expert setting on" and in user preference it has my assistant assigned - however, when OUTSIDE the encounter if I create a PROCEDURE order it is assigning it to me the provider - despite my settings -

    I AM REQUESTING it DEFAULT to assistant when created outside the encounter

  17. hospitalization history

    QUICK data -allows you to import text into the encounter - we do hospital follow up visits and it would be great to import the hospitalization history note - however at this time it loads ALL the hospitalization history as opposed to the most recent visit -

  18. EMR/EMR Manager Icons In Task Bar When Launching and Login Window Opening In Front of Other Windows

    When launching the EMR and EMR Manager, the login windows often appear behind other windows that are open on the system (e.g., if you have Outlook open, Web browsers, etc.). This scenario does not seem to happen with the PM application.

    In addition, the icons for EMR/Manager do not appear on the task bar until login has been completed. Again, this does not happen with PM as the PM icon is immediately available when the login screen appears. (Screenshot attached)

    These issues seem to go hand-in-hand, but if the icon was at least available, then the window could be instantly…

    It would be very beneficial to be able to view the schedule/patients checked in while in an encounter. It is very time consuming to have to exit an encounter while charting to see if we have patients ready for provider.

  20. Who test result was forwarded to and what comments made on the forward test result

    A doctor requested the following:

    When forwarding a test result, MicroMD doesn’t appear to save to whom the result was forwarded to and what comments were made. It doesn’t appear anywhere. The Change History doesn’t document this. Perhaps adding the forward information to a right click menu could be a resolution or on the result itself.
