  1. Patient Portal - View/Print Previously Submitted Forms

    When patients submit forms on the Patient Portal, they do not have the ability to go back and see the forms that they have submitted. It would be nice to have the ability to go back (on the patient-end) and either view and/or print the forms that have already been submitted. (Request ID: 13739)

  2. Patient Portal - Inactive/Resolved/Terminated Items Getting Published

    When publishing any individual area to the patient portal, inactive/resolved/terminated items are also published and seems to be very confusing to the patients. It would be nice to make it clearer to the patient that these items are inactive/resolved/terminated and are not active items. (Request ID: 13920)

  3. Attachments to orders older than 6 months

    When adding an attachment to an order. The drop down of list of orders is only within the last 6 months. Our practices enter orders at the time of physicals for mammagrams. they don't always coinside with the time of the physical exams. This needs to be parameterized not hard coded.

  4. Print fasting/non-fasting status on lab results

    Description of Request: Be specific, detailed where and how this function would work and enhance the users experience. On the lab results, it would be good to see whether the patient was fasting or not. Right now, if we want to see if the patient was fasting we have to actually open up the order and see if fasting is checked or not. It would be very benefitial and more efficient if fasting status showed up on the result.

    This suggestion is in the planning stage, a work around will be put in place first by adding the fasting in the note area of the result. In a future version a field/label will be added to capture this and display seperate from the notes area.

  5. Allow the signature on encounters to be used more than 10 times

    When a provider signs their encounter, they should have the ability to use that signature for more than just the next 10 encounters. It would be nice to have a setting in user preferences to allow the user to choose how many encounters they can use the signature for, possibly up to 50 times, before having to put their signature in again. This would be especially useful for a provider who also needs to co-sign for a mid-level.

  6. Selecting what is on Patient Care Plan.

    Type: Feature Request
    Doctor Akin would like to be able to select exactly what prints on his Patient Care Plan. He does not like that the diagnoses prints because he has some patients that disagree with his diagnoses. He also does not like that it shows the meds prescribed today along with their current meds because he says it confuses his patients.

    Workarounds:
    I created an encounter report that will print most of what they want, however, it doesn’t show what pharmacy the prescriptions were sent to and this is a big deal to this doctor.

  7. Allow providers to use Dragon to enter text, have discrete data recognition

    I am a Dragon user - I want to dictate my exam and hit a button that will extract common medical terms that I have dictated in my exam or review of systems into discrete data for faster docmentation - and to allow E&M Coding support. I use some text steps to document some parts of my visit becuase it is faster but I have to give up coding help.   8. Add a way to organize diagnosis codes into groups.

    I would like to see a feature similar to the custom plan tabs on the assessment step where you could have tabs to organize groups of diagnosis codes. This would greatly help expedite searches.

  9. Lab Order

    Description of Request: When creating a lab order in an encounter, copy the diagnosis from the encounter into the order. When printing the order, print the practice's fax number and the ICD Code. Be specific, detailed where and how this function would work and enhance the users experience.

  10. User date and time stamps

    Remove the printed by and date stamp on mail merge letters. Clients feel patients do not need to know who printed the letter. Remove the date and time stamp from the plan details on the encounter text, particularly on the revised encounters. Clients are complaining these dates are confusing and misleading.

  11. diagnosis code update

    When the quarterly diagnosis code update happens, the system needs to update all rules that include codes like it. Or likewise, there needs to be a way for the users to know which codes have been updated so we can update our rules. Or, change the rules so that they are based on just a dx code not the descriptors attached to them.

  12. Fax on the Headers

    It would be nice to have the fax number on that too or have that auto header easily editable.micromd needs to be modified for fax header parameters to include sender's fax information; WV legislature RX faxing requires this

  13. New way to order labs or procedures

    It would be nice if when you wanted to order labs you could bring up a lab form to check off the tests you want and add DX codes to the form. It would be a lot faster than having to search a list for labs you want. You could also add a feature so you could pick the status for all of the order like future date, etc. It would make it must faster.   14. All comments on a forwarded attachment should be viewable

    All comments on a forwarded attachment should be included and able to be viewed by any and all users. This will "close the loop" on communication with users and with the patient when necessary. Currently the comments are not viewable by anyone other than the author and the user it was forwarded to.

  15. Track patient care plan printing options

    Put a setting in the Provider User Preferences to allow the provider to decide WHAT things to print with the Patient Care Plan. Currently the system auto checkmarks all of the boxes and for doctors that don't want Immunization and other things to print with the plan, they have to uncheck each one for every patient. For our client they are unchecking approximately 720 boxes per day because the default is set to check marked and there is no where to change this. For another client, 1 doctor wants the immunization printed and the other does not.

  17. Var Name: Impact Medical Solutions

    Description of Request: Add the ability to print both discrete information and dictated text to an encounter report. Have a wizard template with step 1 as medical information, step 2 is ROS and step 3 is encounter as text. When trying to print the encounter report you can only print either the ROS or the text part of the encounter not both.
    Requested Steps: Allow an encounter template to pull in the dictated text along with the discrete text.

  18. Group LTM vs Rx meds and alphabetize

    On the Patient Care Summary, Medication List, please group the LTM meds vs the Prescription Meds and alphabetize each list for ease of reference for the patient and other providers
    Impact on Workflow: will decrease number of phone calls from patients who are confused by their medications appearing multiple times on the list. Makes Medication Reconciliation between providers much more easy to accomplish.
