  1. Medicare Part A autoposting

    Bundle write offs, sequester adjustment write offs, etc do not transfer to the line level requiring manual editing of every secondary claim that is sent electronically.

  2. AutoPayment setup option not to set status to print

    Recommending that AutoPayment Setup have an option whether to set status to Print or not. When a claim is set to Review & Process and the responsibility doesn't transfer, the practices don't want the claim to refile until they have had the opportunity to review and they will set it to Print.

  3. Eligibility checking option for field staff who do not input client appointment in the PM

    It would be helpful to have a report to run eligibility by service facility to verify eligibility. Some physical locations are field programs and appointments are not set in the PM. At one time we created dummy appointments for clients to run eligibility but it has become necessary to re-create these dummy schedules do to time sensitivity coding in MicroMd. Using service facility setup in cases multiples can be tracked.

  4. Referring Doctor end date

    In Maintenance, Referring Doctor there should be a field to make an end date (for example Retired, Pass away, or no longer practicing). Right now there is no way to do this so no way to make a provider inactive except for going into Maintenance, patient and removing that provider from the patients chart.

  5. Unapplied Payment Report

    It would be nice to receive a report when running the unapplied payment utility that let the user know what did/didn't get applied. If there is nothing that can be applied it would be great to at least receive that statement back.

  6. add mail merge fields for appointment type report

    Practice would like last diagnosis codes and descriptions added for appointment type mail merge documents. From Schedule Report, they select Mail Merge Export to print a summary of appointments and they would like last diagnosis to print.

  8. option to mask part of ssn# when printing charge slip

    there is an option to exclude ssn#. would like to have option to print only last 4 also. Adding it as practice preference might be good also so it can be excluded or last 4 on reports.

  9. Add Quick key for autopost payments/autoposting report

    Users utilizing the Autoposting feature must load the autoposting report with a mouse click and then select autopost payments with an additional mouse click for each ERA file.

    Please add keyboard quick keys for each button (autopost report and autopost payment) so the user can reduce the amount of mouse clicks. Also, the user will be able to save time by using quick keys on the keyboard as opposed to looking at his or her monitor to find the PM buttons and clicking them each time.   10. The ability to copy patient notes from the PM patient detail.

    Similar to how you can highlight and copy text on a website, the ability to highlight text in patient notes is crucial. In PM you can create patient notes and modify those notes if allowed. However you can't highlight the note text (like highlighting text on a website) if you don't have the ability to edit the note. A lot of our billing personnel need to be able to do this, (highlighting other user-made notes that are not their own).   11. Option to Update Billing Message from Charges/Payments Window

    Description of Request: When printing an individual patient statement from the charges/payments window, the client would like to have an option to update the patient billing message as well.

    Requested Steps to define spec: Have a check box available on the print statement screen (see screenshot) to update the patient billing message

    Expected Result: For the message to get updated 
    Actual Result: The message is not updated

    Impact on Workflow: They have to open the patient chart and manually flip the patient billing message

  12. Denials in more screen causing CAS Segment errors

    When a claim is reprocessed by an insurance company, autopost puts that reversed denial amount into the more screen as a negative amount. The prior denial (positive amount) is automatically unchecked to send. So, only the negative amount is forwarded to the clearinghouse. This is causing many CAS segment errors for claims out of balance. The only way to correct now is to manually uncheck 'send' on the negative amount so it will not go. There should be a way to automatically uncheck send or keep the previous positive denial amount checked so the claim will balance.

  13. Posting for same patient, same day, at different locations.

    If a patient is seen at company a dental location then seen the same day at company a medical location there can be an issue with auto posting. What can happen is a dental payment may try to autopost to a medical charge or vice versa when the patient is visiting the second location (See below example). The charges window is where the payment will be posted (Charges/Payments > New > Enter Payment). The PM needs an enhancement to say there is an unapplied payment. Apply to sequence X or No?   14. Service Facility Missing

    Would like the option to stop users from saving a sequence without a service facility.

    Currently the system will give an error if the location is missing and not allow the sequence to be saved but only a warning if the service facility is missing.

  15. print pending charges list

    The ability to print the list of outstanding pending charges.
    Practice managers want the ability to print the list at the end of each day to give to the staff and track who is leaving items in the pending charges. Right now you cannot do any reporting with these windows and excessive amounts of items are being left at the end of each business day

  17. Show patient's full middle name everywhere patient's full name is shown

    In version 14 MicroMD added the option to include a patient’s entire middle name. This works when viewing a single patient’s information, however, everywhere else in the PM it just references the first letter of the patient’s middle name. We need to have an option to show the patient’s full middle name in all places that the patient’s full name is shown (patient list, appointment schedules, etc).

  18. Check amount included in Auto Payment Posting Files dropdown

    When using the Auto Payment Posting dialog box, the client is requesting that, along with check payer and check number, the check amount be displayed. They state that this will help them locate checks faster without having to load all the data.

    Requested Steps: Click Billing, Auto Payment Posting, Down arrow beside the Files box

    Expected Result: To be able to view the check amount along with existing options

    Actual Result: Only the payer name and check number show
    Impact on Workflow: Have to potentially load multiple files to check the amount if check number is unknown

  19. Abbreviated Eligibility Report

    It would be nice to have the ability to set up a template for an Eligibility Report. When ran for a specific client, they had 74 pages for 19 appointments. What if there was an abbreviated one that would just show valid dates, plan info with copay amount, type of Medicaid, that kind of basic info. Elig provider is PI

  20. An area is needed to scan patients prescription card.

    with prior authorizations happening more often it would be nice to have a scanned copy in the chart with their insurance cards (than hold on the phone with a pharmacy to get the necessary information) Especially with Medicare recipients who can choose their pharmacy benefit.
