  3. Bot Development for EB Claims

    She indicated that this is for a bot development. She would like when they click on the Claims Processing-EB to automatically pull the plan magnifying glass up to select the plans they want to send.

  4. Mass Change Billing Provider to match Rendering Provider

    There should be an option on Electronic Billing that lets a user mass change billing providers instead of going to each account separately for select claims. Sometimes the billing provider is different from the rendering provider and some insurances require that the rendering and billing provider need to be the same.

    Or an option in plan sets that locks the rendering provider as the billing provider.

    Impact on workflow:

    Slows down the scrubbing process of claims and makes the biller have to go into each patient's account to change the billing provider. Which adds more steps to make sure all…

  5. Automatically Inactivate User after ____ Days of no login

    Create an item in the PM > Setup > Identity and Access > Security Administration to allow the system to Automatically Inactivate User after ____ Days of no login.
    Many practices forget to do terminations on staff and many logins get left active when they are no longer with the practice. The fact that a terminated user could access the system. We do ask for termination forms be sent but find when we send over list to the clients of no activity they “forgot” to do the form

  6. Task Manager Setup area

    When in the task management area there are several Setup buttons (Messages and ToDo) to pull over the fields. Please default all the items to be included for users instead of having to get each user to set up the area. This is very time-consuming with large practices trying to implement the area. User can go back on their own and adjust the order and remove anything they wish.

  7. Automate adding codes based on rules/insurance

    I have been asked by several FQHC's to request this feature...
    When they post certain office visit codes and the insurance is Medicare, they need the system to automatically add the G code needed. Currently, cross-code messages are used but it would be much better if they could eliminate that and the system adds the code automatically in PM when posting. We have also looked at asking for postloaders however the insurance pays against the G code so that is not an option.

  8. Sliding Fee Schedule Setup > Correct Effective Date Headers

    Under the Aux > MicroMD CHC > Setup > Practice window, the column for "Effective Date Ending" has a blank header. According to support, the "Effective Date" header covers both columns. However, it appears to be two distinct, separated fields for this header. Request to either merge/center this heading over the two columns or, even better, add the "Effective Date Ending" header to the end date column. It seems that adding the distinct header would be a better option since you can sort by this column separately from the start date.

  9. Appointment Request - show future appt

    When reviewing the Appointment Request window it would be nice to know or even see if a future appointment already exists. I find that a lot of the requests from providers come through after appointments were already made and the request is no longer needed. Even if I could right-click and go right to an appt inquiry search without having to memorize the acct number and look them up would be good.
    Currently, the request is only accessible from the appt views so you have to bounce in and out of that and the appt inquiry windows without viewing both…

  10. Waiting List - pops up after "Change Appt" and "Delete"

    Can we stop the waiting list from popping up every time we reschedule/delete an appt? If the waiting list is needed we would pull it up manually.

  11. date of birth in patient window

    When in the patient window, you must enter in the date of birth to search for a patient more than once. Sometimes it brings up several different codes and then you have to exit completely out of the program and sign back in.

  12. Inactive Insurance Plan

    When updating a patient, and the patient has an inactive plan, pop-up a message identifying the inactive plan ID so the user can correct the insurance.

    Additionally, create a Utility that will allow you to transfer patients with an inactive plan ID to another plan ID. Ensure the utility allows you to select all/select individual patients in the event some billing still needs to be done with the old plan.

  13. Disable Advertising Banner on PM Login Screen

    With the upgrade to PM version 17.0.3, there is a new banner on the EMR login screen advertising the MicroMD Solutions Central Marketplace. There is no discernable way to disable this banner (either per-user or per-practice). There should be a setting that the practice can opt-in or opt-out of this advertisement.

  14. Default POS by Plan

    Ability to set a default POS by Insurance Plan. We are constantly asking for postloaders in Practice Insight to default POS by plan and would be great if PM could handle this.

  15. pregnancy module

    the new pregnancy module in v15 allows for place of delivery but it is mapped only to service facility or you can free text. both of these options will result in a lot of errors. MicroMD support suggested adding the hospitals to our service facilities but we cannot chance charges being entered under a facility that is not ours, and free text always gets messy and allows for typos. This area should at least be mapped to the referring provider section

  16. Pending Charge - EMR sending multiple times

    If an encounter has an order that is modified, version 14.0 will mark the encounter as "Unsigned". When the provider signs the encounter, a user can re-process the encounter in "Billing Preparation". We need a way to identify when encounters have been unsigned and are being sent over again with corrections and on revisions in Pending Charges (PM). Currently there is nothing in the pending charges window to help the user identify multiple submissions from the EMR (when staff mark for sending multiple times or when unsigned notes create duplicates or if providers revise notes and send corrections).

  17. Option to mark Diagnosis codes as Informational/Non-Billable

    When in the PM, would like a way to mark certain diagnosis codes as Informational or Non-Billable and would keep them from going out on claims. They state that there are certain codes they need to put on the patient't chart that help them meet measures, but when the codes get sent out on claims, it causes the claims to come back with errors. They are valid ICD10 codes BUT insurance companies(NC Medicaid and Medicare) deny the claims if these codes are placed on claims.

  18. Charge Slip to print patient entire name

    When the patient has a long name the charge slip does not print the entire name. Example attached. Patients first name with middle initial is 11 digits. and only 5 digits print. There needs to be some digits added to the name slot.

  19. Lock posting from pending charges so multiple users cannot cause duplicate charges

    This client posts charges through Pending Charges. Multiple users post these charges-sometimes at the same time. Can we add an enhancement to "lock" posting from pending charges so it is unable to be opened by more than 1 user? Need to limit to a single user so they are not posting the same charge multiple times causing duplicate charges.

  20. LOCK an ERA file when someone starts to post to it so another user cannot access it and result in duplicate posting

    An ERA file is locked by a user when one of the following occur in “Billing > AutoPayment Posting”:
    • The file is selected and “Load Autoposting Data” is clicked
    • OR
    o “Autoposting Report” is clicked
    • OR
    o “Autopost Payments” is clicked
    • If another user attempts access the ERA file, the subsequent user(s) would be notified that the file is locked by the initial user with the notification including the user who has the file locked.
    Requested Steps to define spec: As soon as an ERA file is accessed/report run... the would become "locked"
