Sequence and General Notes
Description of Request: On any notes screen, add option to display notes in descending date order (like Billing Inquiry). Be specific, detailed where and how this function would work and enhance the users experience.

Third Party Statements
Third party statements need to print practice's phone number. Include Show Due Date option like Bills/Statements.

Location
Practices would like to be able to use color coding in the scheduler related to location. For example, holiday/vacation days show up in the calendar in red; practices would like to be able to change the colors of other days based on the location templated in the scheduler so by looking at the calendar users can tell what location a provider is at on certain days without having to open each day.

Automate adding codes based on rules/insurance
I have been asked by several FQHC's to request this feature...
When they post certain office visit codes and the insurance is Medicare, they need the system to automatically add the G code needed. Currently, cross-code messages are used but it would be much better if they could eliminate that and the system adds the code automatically in PM when posting. We have also looked at asking for postloaders however the insurance pays against the G code so that is not an option.2 votes -
Unapplied Payment Report
It would be nice to receive a report when running the unapplied payment utility that let the user know what did/didn't get applied. If there is nothing that can be applied it would be great to at least receive that statement back.

Denials in more screen causing CAS Segment errors
When a claim is reprocessed by an insurance company, autopost puts that reversed denial amount into the more screen as a negative amount. The prior denial (positive amount) is automatically unchecked to send. So, only the negative amount is forwarded to the clearinghouse. This is causing many CAS segment errors for claims out of balance. The only way to correct now is to manually uncheck 'send' on the negative amount so it will not go. There should be a way to automatically uncheck send or keep the previous positive denial amount checked so the claim will balance.

Posting for same patient, same day, at different locations.
If a patient is seen at company a dental location then seen the same day at company a medical location there can be an issue with auto posting. What can happen is a dental payment may try to autopost to a medical charge or vice versa when the patient is visiting the second location (See below example). The charges window is where the payment will be posted (Charges/Payments > New > Enter Payment). The PM needs an enhancement to say there is an unapplied payment. Apply to sequence X or No? Add Pm global period indicator to the bill builder screen in the EMR
Currently the global period can be tracked in the PM system - but it is not visible in the EMR on the bill builder screen where the provider has to enter either a standard E&M code if not in the global period - but a difference code if the global period is in effect. If providers do not see the warning - they enter the wrong code - which requires the billing department to request an encounter revision.

Add write off and adjustment control thresholds.
A practice has requested a dollar value preference that can be set that would require any adjustment or write off over that threshold amount to require a supervisory approval - the approval could be handled as a task that the supervisor has to approve before the actual write off or adjustment is posted.

System Rules in the Rule Manager
Unable to make edits to the insurance class tab for "Check Diagnosis Rule". Need the ability to "uncheck" dental classes as this rule does not apply to dental claims and it is making the EB Summary Report hard to read for dental claims

Add merge field totals the sequences assoc. w/precollection
Add a mail merge field that totals the sequences associated with the precollection balance, not one that is the total account balance, or the total patient balance due. The total patient balance due is misleading when doing sequence based collections.

When updating default plan set in Plan Sets tab, eliminate need to also update Default Plan Set in Cases Tab
This client had a patient with multiple plan sets. The current Default plan set had been terminated (termination dates were present on the plan). We then proceeded to change the Default plan set in the Plan Set tab to the active plans. Then as a second step, we had to go to this patient's Cases tab and update the Default Plan Set field to match the plan set we updated in the Plan Set tab. If we don't do this second step, then when patient posts charges, the new Default plan set does NOT show at the top of the…

Balance Write-off tool needs to be able to sort by date of service
If you want to write-off a certain date range you can't. You can only select "posting date", but not the date of service. This would be a very helpful addition.

Patient receipt descriptions length
An option to be able to have longer descriptions on Patient Receipt print-outs in PM. Some clients like to manually add in notes to descriptions in procedure codes for individual patients.

client is requesting an option to search by Insurance Class when searching for a Plan in a Patient's Plan Sets tab
When in a Practice Management -Patient (F5) -Plan Sets tab and placing a % sign in the Plan Id Field the Plan search window pulls up.
They would like to be able to either Search by Insurance Class or show the Insurance class in that window to be able to Sort by Insurance Class. They frequently see patients that do not have their ID card so they do not know address of the Plan.

Printing a list of the Charge Slip patients
Would like to be able to print a list of all the patients that had charge slips printed on certain day before posting charges to them. With some of the information that is on the charge slip itself: like ID# Name, Balance owed, last seen, etc.

global clipboard setting
The appointment clipboard automatically defaults to allow the user to see the Global clipboard. MicroMD requires each user to go into the Filter Options to keep the clipboard just to the individual user. Our suggestion is to allow the clipboard to automatically default to the individual user. This would need to be a setting for the database as a whole. For large groups with multiple offices/locations/specialties, they do not usually need to see a global clipboard, it becomes too much information.

Charges window add function to allow the width expansion
Please increase the width of the display window when user clicks on Toggle Display. User goes to Charges and the charges load from pending charges. User then clicks on Toggle Display, but has to use the pull bar at the bottom to access all information on the right side. That is extremely time consuming, especially when clients are being particularly careful about their ICD10 coding.
