  1. Add merge field totals the sequences assoc. w/precollection

    Add a mail merge field that totals the sequences associated with the precollection balance, not one that is the total account balance, or the total patient balance due. The total patient balance due is misleading when doing sequence based collections.

  2. When updating default plan set in Plan Sets tab, eliminate need to also update Default Plan Set in Cases Tab

    This client had a patient with multiple plan sets. The current Default plan set had been terminated (termination dates were present on the plan). We then proceeded to change the Default plan set in the Plan Set tab to the active plans. Then as a second step, we had to go to this patient's Cases tab and update the Default Plan Set field to match the plan set we updated in the Plan Set tab.   3. Balance Write-off tool needs to be able to sort by date of service

    If you want to write-off a certain date range you can't. You can only select "posting date", but not the date of service. This would be a very helpful addition.

  4. Patient receipt descriptions length

    An option to be able to have longer descriptions on Patient Receipt print-outs in PM. Some clients like to manually add in notes to descriptions in procedure codes for individual patients.

  5. client is requesting an option to search by Insurance Class when searching for a Plan in a Patient's Plan Sets tab

    When in a Practice Management -Patient (F5) -Plan Sets tab and placing a % sign in the Plan Id Field the Plan search window pulls up.
    They would like to be able to either Search by Insurance Class or show the Insurance class in that window to be able to Sort by Insurance Class. They frequently see patients that do not have their ID card so they do not know address of the Plan.

  6. Printing a list of the Charge Slip patients

    Would like to be able to print a list of all the patients that had charge slips printed on certain day before posting charges to them. With some of the information that is on the charge slip itself: like ID# Name, Balance owed, last seen, etc.

  7. global clipboard setting

    The appointment clipboard automatically defaults to allow the user to see the Global clipboard. MicroMD requires each user to go into the Filter Options to keep the clipboard just to the individual user. Our suggestion is to allow the clipboard to automatically default to the individual user. This would need to be a setting for the database as a whole. For large groups with multiple offices/locations/specialties, they do not usually need to see a global clipboard, it becomes too much information.

  8. Charges window add function to allow the width expansion

    Please increase the width of the display window when user clicks on Toggle Display. User goes to Charges and the charges load from pending charges. User then clicks on Toggle Display, but has to use the pull bar at the bottom to access all information on the right side. That is extremely time consuming, especially when clients are being particularly careful about their ICD10 coding.

  10. PM F6 Search Field

    We would like to request to make available the ability to search by phone numbers in the F6 search window much like you can currently do in the F5 search window.

    This came up as one of our billers called in stating that she has a hard time understanding some of her patients when they call in to inquire about their statements due to a heavy accent or different language. She is able to see the phone number on the caller ID display and that would greatly help to identify the caller and assist them further.

  11. To enable clients to use the Moneris credit card swiper to post primary insurance payments.

    The Feature Request is to give users the ability to use the Moneris Card Swiper to post credit card payments from insurance companies for primary payments using the green payment calculation box just like we give them the ability to post credit card payments from patients.
    More insurance companies are sending insurance payments on a credit card when the client is not enrolled for EFT.   12. "Family Size" - Unknown Category on UDS Table 4

    Within the MicroMD PM application, unless it is set otherwise, you do not have to populate the "Family Size" value within the Patient's account > Patient Profile Detail tab. However, if this field is not populated (It is left blank), when running the UDS Table 4 report, the patient is listed as having a Family Size of "1". It would be useful for the practice to be able to see, in a "Unknown" catetgory, which patients do not have a "Family Size" entered.

  13. Provide choice of downloading remits with MicroMD ECM

    Many sites do not want the remittances to automatically come back from Practice Insight when sending claims. Most sites only download remittances and post on the day they verify funds have been received. Downloading multiple (all available remits) from PI is time consuming and causes a long list to wade thru for autoposting.

  14. Allow to set System Default Language to None or Other Language

    Allow practice to set System Default Language to None for New Patients. Practices should be allowed to set their Default Language to what their major patient population speaks or set it to NONE so that users are forced to change the language for the new patients added into the system.

    1. Log in to PM

    3. Practice Preferences
    4. General Preferences

  16. Improve tracking of appointments that have certain date restrictions/fields with options to view last date of specific procedures

    To improve continuity of care - it would help to have visible while making appointments certain fields on the appointment screen that show when a patient had a type of appointment without having to move from the screen - i.e. a Medicare wellness.
    And if an appointment type is set up - when selected - if the patient is requesting that type of appointment and it has not been the allowable time since the last visit - a pop up should alert the user with the info of how many days remain in the restriction.   17. "Death Date" Not Audited In Patient Log

    When a user sets a "Death Date" in a patient's "Detail" tab, the Patient Log does not reflect this information. This makes it difficult to troubleshoot issues with patients being listed as "Deceased" in EMR an issue once the information crosses the interface as it cannot be tracked down to an individual user making this change.

  18. Enhance Batch Options to allow user to Set a Default Provider too.

    Currently Batch Options allows a user to default a Location, Service Facility, DOS but not the provider. For practices that post hospital charges, being able to set a Provider that conducted hospital rounds for all patients would be helpful. This is often and likely going to be different than the provider that was entered into the patients demographic record.

  19. File a document with a claim

    At times practices have to send a document with the claim. This is done currently by submitting the claim to the payer and then following up with a fax of the medical record. It would be nice to be able to send the claim with the document attached from the DMS. Since both EMR and PM customers have access to it, this would benefit all PM customers. Perhaps the Claim Attachment Info in the Extra button when filling claims could do this? This would make the adjudication process go quicker.

  20. Have the ability to go back to the open slots search screen results once you have opened an appointment slot.

    Have the ability to go back to the open slots search screen results once you have opened an appointment slot. Currently when I search for open slots, I get a list of open appointments. I double click the slot I think I want. If I change my mind and decide I need a different open slot, I am unable to go back to the search window. It would great to be able to close the open appointment and have the open slot search window still open with my latest search results there for me to review again.
