Abbreviated Eligibility Report
It would be nice to have the ability to set up a template for an Eligibility Report. When ran for a specific client, they had 74 pages for 19 appointments. What if there was an abbreviated one that would just show valid dates, plan info with copay amount, type of Medicaid, that kind of basic info. Elig provider is PI

add report to audit scheduled appointments to charges posted
as an added security against misuse - design a report that compares patients scheduled in the PM that are not marked as missed or no shows against posted charges to help audit that all appointments had charges posted. This should be available to PM only customers - and is similar to an audit report available that shows EMR encounter sstarted versus charges sent to billing.

Add a setting in PM/EMR to deactivate a clinic or service facility
You may have a clinic or service facility in PM or EMR that you no longer use or that isn't an active location. It would be helpful if you could "deactivate" it so it's not an option for any features in PM/EMR. A similar capability has already been implemented for plans in PM.

Patient Category: Deceased
need way to mark the ‘deceased’ category as “special” the way it can mark the collections category, etc…, so that when a patient is marked deceased all of the appointments and recalls for the patient are cancelled. If the status is changed from ‘deceased’ to something else, due to error or resurrection, then the appointments and recalls should probably be un-cancelled. Setting the patient’s ‘death_date’ should probably have the same effect.

Schedule Report Identifying Minors
Include an identifying flag on the Schedule Report to identify when the patient is a minor so that the staff know that they need to speak with a parent/guardian.

Confidential Communication visible from Schedule Report
Add field to Scheduling Report to include a flag that indicates there is a "HIPAA Code" for that patient; at least as reminder that they need to check the patient demographics to see what the restriction is before making the confirmation call; have the report link back to the patient detail window to check rather than having to go somewhere else to look it up

Provider Column in Patient List
In Guarantor/Patient list, there should be a column to show the Provider the patient is assigned to in Patient Details.

Matching fields for the Referral Lists in the PM and EMR.
The recent merge of the Referral Lists in the PM and EMR have caused issues because the EMR has additional fields that the PM doesn't. This causes blank and comma entries on the PM side. The two fields causing the issue are the PM Hospital Aff field and the EMR Clinic field. There either needs to be a Clinic field added to the PM too match the EMR or the PM needs to display a Hospital Aff column when looking at the Referral List window on the PM side.

Provider Practice Name and Address override should show on statement instead of Practice Name and address.
User should have the option to have Practice Name and Address show OR Provider Practice Name and Address override. Currently the Pay To information is used, request is to have an option to pull from practice override information area instead.

Age restrictions
For practices that select not to see minor patients, it would be nice to have a setting where you could block users from adding patients that are under 18.

Waiting List - pops up after "Change Appt" and "Delete"
Can we stop the waiting list from popping up every time we reschedule/delete an appt? If the waiting list is needed we would pull it up manually.

Check amount included in Auto Payment Posting Files dropdown
When using the Auto Payment Posting dialog box, the client is requesting that, along with check payer and check number, the check amount be displayed. They state that this will help them locate checks faster without having to load all the data.
Requested Steps: Click Billing, Auto Payment Posting, Down arrow beside the Files box
Expected Result: To be able to view the check amount along with existing options
Actual Result: Only the payer name and check number show

New Pending Charges Features
Pending Charges needs to be more versatile. Both the pending charges list and the charge window (after opening a pending charge) needs more information to help the user process billing faster.
List
The list shows ID, Name, Service Date, Location, Provider, Created On, Created By and Details Rows.
Please add more fields or allow the user to create a custom list of the fields they need most. Some examples would be: DOB, Plan ID Name (this would be great to help the user sort insurances and put in one specific insurance before another), last appointment, and the primary CPT (Procedure)…3 votes -
Add Copay audit report - comparing copays expected based on appts to collected copays
A practice has suggested that we develop an audit report that would look at the appointments scheduled and total the expected copayments based on the schedule - and compare to the co-payments collected that day - to help insure and identify collection of co-payments

Have option to not allow balance to go to PT Resp depending on payor
Client is already using Ignore Sec Writeoff option to stop Medicaid AL from auto posting additional write off on charge (was causing client to have to manually remove this writeoff and rebalance the charge as it was causing negative balance). Issue is system is also auto transferring the balance to PT Resp which is illegal. We need an option to stop the balance from going to the PT depending on the payer. Where these two options would work in conjunction.
Balance should be written off, kept under Medicaid AL or transferred to Tertiary payer (when present).3 votes -
Adding feature to not transfer balance to PT Resp or leave the balance with the payer
When patient has Medicaid AL as secondary (with no Tertiary) and there is a balance after Medicaid AL pays, we need that balance to either be auto written off or be left under Medicaid AL. This option would be used in conjunction with the Ignore Sec Writeoff option as placing a check in this check box is already handling a separate write off issue. It is currently illegal to bill the patient for this remaining balance.

Quickly close the appointment history window
The escape button is quick key for exiting windows in PM. However, it doesn't work on the appointment history. This should be an easy fix for Micro.

patient letters mail merge fields
Add patient appointments field (next appt, last appt) as a mail merge field for individual patients letters (not just group mail merge letters as is now the case)
WORKFLOW: huge impact in cases where indiv letters need to be sent staff has to hand write the dates or create a group mail merge and delete the names of patients that are not needed on this list this can be cumbersome when creating letters for multiple dates... The field should just be available...
All field available for group mail merge documents/letters should also be available for individual patient letters (printed individually…

Add status Drop Down to Referral Detail window
We would like to have a drop down added to the Referral Detail window in the PM where we can select the status of the referral. Preferably the practice would be able to establish the list of selections in the drop down.
Within the patient demographics you can select the blue book icon in the tool bar which opens the Referral Detail.
The Referral feature in the PM is used to track the authorizations and discussions with the insurance. Some patients are with us 3+ months so that is a lot of phone calls and discussions with insurance that we…3 votes -
Track changes made to CPT fees
Ability to track changes made to CPT fees - need report showing user ID and date of the change, along with a record of the change made.
