  1. RESPONSIBLE PARTY UPDATE INFORMATION

Would like to see a message appear if there is a responsible party listed when the patient's address is being updated. For example we are changing patient's address and phone number the RP stays the same as is. Would like to see a message if want to update RP also. Also would like to see a message for a RP if patient is under a certain age (18 yrs old) Plus have the patient's name to list as the second line in the RP's address even if in (_).

  2. Improve appointment confirmations

Improve appointment confirmations by adding ways to denote what was done: Confirmed, Texted, LM, E-mailed, Confirmed with another, etc.

  3. code scrubbing

The code scrubbing 'warning/caution triangle' should have the ability to either color code more serious problems (i.e. 'same dx on claim multiple times') vs. ('dx pointers 5 - 8 do not appear on a paper claim'). Currently they both have the same warning and without a report to review the claims with warnings in the system. You should be able to prioritize these and/or turn them off. I don't care if dx pointers 5 - 8 do not appear on a paper claim if I am submitting an electronic claim which is about 95% of my claim submissions. I want…

  4. Plan Procedure History Report to group by Provider and Date

When running the Plan Procedure History Report, end user should be able to Group by Provider and Date. Every month Client runs the Census report based on patient’s seen by each rendering provider on a daily basis. Currently right now customer has to change the Service date manually for every single day of the month and this is very time consuming because they have over 15 providers. It would be helpful if the Total Visit count totals by Date and by Month.
Requested Steps to define spec: Reports > Management > Plan Procedure History Report > Options > select Group…

  5. Patient Log Report

There needs to be the ability for a practice manager to track changes to the patient log in the form of a report searchable by date. I have a problem with front desk staff entering plan sets incorrectly. (ie patient will hand staff member their Medicare card and their Medicare Replacement policy insurance card. The front desk staff is setting up Medicare as primary and the replacement policy as secondary. There is a real need for practice managers to be able to catch these errors without having to view the patient log for each of the 60 patients that were…

  6. Medicare Part A autoposting

Bundle write offs, sequester adjustment write offs, etc do not transfer to the line level requiring manual editing of every secondary claim that is sent electronically.

  7. Code Scrubbing

The code scrubbing warnings that populate on a billed seqence should be available in a report enabling someone to work those claims. Similar to the 'Open Claims' report, users should be able to drill down to the patient sequence right from the report.

This report would be a useful training tool for the entire practice to see what codes are causing warnings (ie a 99204 and 99408 billed in the same visit). We could educate our medical staff to suggest a return visit for the second procedure.

  8. Automatically Inactivate User after ____ Days of no login

Create an item in the PM > Setup > Identity and Access > Security Administration to allow the system to Automatically Inactivate User after ____ Days of no login.
Many practices forget to do terminations on staff and many logins get left active when they are no longer with the practice. The fact that a terminated user could access the system. We do ask for termination forms be sent but find when we send over list to the clients of no activity they “forgot” to do the form

  9. Default POS by Plan

Ability to set a default POS by Insurance Plan. We are constantly asking for postloaders in Practice Insight to default POS by plan and would be great if PM could handle this.

  10. Abbreviated Eligibility Report

It would be nice to have the ability to set up a template for an Eligibility Report. When ran for a specific client, they had 74 pages for 19 appointments. What if there was an abbreviated one that would just show valid dates, plan info with copay amount, type of Medicaid, that kind of basic info. Elig provider is PI

  11. add report to audit scheduled appointments to charges posted

as an added security against misuse - design a report that compares patients scheduled in the PM that are not marked as missed or no shows against posted charges to help audit that all appointments had charges posted. This should be available to PM only customers - and is similar to an audit report available that shows EMR encounter sstarted versus charges sent to billing.

  12. Add a setting in PM/EMR to deactivate a clinic or service facility

You may have a clinic or service facility in PM or EMR that you no longer use or that isn't an active location. It would be helpful if you could "deactivate" it so it's not an option for any features in PM/EMR. A similar capability has already been implemented for plans in PM.

  13. Patient Category: Deceased

need way to mark the ‘deceased’ category as “special” the way it can mark the collections category, etc…, so that when a patient is marked deceased all of the appointments and recalls for the patient are cancelled. If the status is changed from ‘deceased’ to something else, due to error or resurrection, then the appointments and recalls should probably be un-cancelled. Setting the patient’s ‘death_date’ should probably have the same effect.

  14. Schedule Report Identifying Minors

Include an identifying flag on the Schedule Report to identify when the patient is a minor so that the staff know that they need to speak with a parent/guardian.

  15. Confidential Communication visible from Schedule Report

Add field to Scheduling Report to include a flag that indicates there is a "HIPAA Code" for that patient; at least as reminder that they need to check the patient demographics to see what the restriction is before making the confirmation call; have the report link back to the patient detail window to check rather than having to go somewhere else to look it up

  16. Provider Column in Patient List

In Guarantor/Patient list, there should be a column to show the Provider the patient is assigned to in Patient Details.

    Requested Steps to define spec:

    1. Open Patient List
    2. Guarantor/Patient List pops-up
    3. A column for Provider should be available

    Expected Result:
in the Guarantor/Patient list, there should be a column to show the Provider that patient is assigned to in Patient Details.

    Current Result:

    there are no current results.

    Impact on Workflow:

With large practices, this is especially helpful because they have multiple providers and there are times where the patient sees the patient sees multiple providers in the practice. They…

  17. Matching fields for the Referral Lists in the PM and EMR.

The recent merge of the Referral Lists in the PM and EMR have caused issues because the EMR has additional fields that the PM doesn't. This causes blank and comma entries on the PM side. The two fields causing the issue are the PM Hospital Aff field and the EMR Clinic field. There either needs to be a Clinic field added to the PM too match the EMR or the PM needs to display a Hospital Aff column when looking at the Referral List window on the PM side.

  18. Provider Practice Name and Address override should show on statement instead of Practice Name and address.

User should have the option to have Practice Name and Address show OR Provider Practice Name and Address override. Currently the Pay To information is used, request is to have an option to pull from practice override information area instead.

  19. Age restrictions

For practices that select not to see minor patients, it would be nice to have a setting where you could block users from adding patients that are under 18.

  20. Task Manager Setup area

When in the task management area there are several Setup buttons (Messages and ToDo) to pull over the fields. Please default all the items to be included for users instead of having to get each user to set up the area. This is very time-consuming with large practices trying to implement the area. User can go back on their own and adjust the order and remove anything they wish.
