Care Plan Report
We need a care plan report that will show us which patients were seen and what patients DID & DID NOT get a care plan printed so we can be sure they receive a care plan before the allotted time frame to meet MU

Children's Parent/Guardian easily accessible
For children, we need the parent/guardian name to be easily accessible from within the EMR (encounters/returning phone messages/immunization authorizing) and an area in PM (and available on appointment recalls) that it is entered/crossed over.

Add ability to terminate medications from inside encounter
Add the ability to terminate a medication from inside an encounter. You currently have to do this once you finish the encounter by then going to the medication screen. This is an extra step. When the provider is face-to-face with the patient they should be able to terminate a medication the patient says they are no longer taking without exiting the encounter.

Patient Messages to show at the top in Henry Schein Secure Chart
All patient messages on the portal should be at the top so it will be easier to find Patient Messages if there’s any. Patient Messages are getting lost with all these Unread Notifications and Patient Portal account creation notifications. Customer receives messages for all Patient Portal accounts created AND Unread notifications along with any messages sent from a patient. This causes much confusion. Users are not aware that there are patient messages because it is being lost due to unread notifications and Patient Portal creations messages.

Billing Report
Need to be able to run a report that will reconcile PM and EMR charge entry items by line.
All items entered in EMR and marked as BILL = YES needs to be listed in PM and a report of any items that don't match should be able to be generated. It should cover the line by line items under the sequences. There should be a check/balance of charges that match the encounter and anything that doesnt match there should be a report that generates those patients with sequences/items missing

Add Appointment Class to Field Name in Patient Appointments report template
Add the Field Name for Appointment Classifications to the Query in the Patient Appointments Report template. The Appointment Classifications should be the ones used in the PM that is linked to that appointment. When running this report, it would help to have the Appointment Classification pull as well that way the users can send letters to patients with a certain appointment class or separate those in the reports if needed. When the report is generated, add a column to include the Appointment Classifications

Vitals of Care Plan
Today's vitals should be included on the care plan. Pediatricians' patients/parents would like to see weight and height and head circumference and elder patients would like to see their B/P.

Add hover text to the order window for patient demographics
Would like to see the patient demographics in hover text when floating over the patient name within an order. This will allow the user to quickly see what the demographics are without having the extra clicks and time it takes to open the patient monitor.

Increase Character Limit in Authorization Code for Procedure Order
Please increase the character limit for Authorization code in the Procedure Order from 19 to 30. Authorization codes can be as many as 30+ characters; currently the system only allows 19 characters. ALL authorization code fields in each order should allow up to 30 characters like Referral Order.

6. Enter authorization number in Authorization Code

portal patient attach document
Our patients are requesting a way to send us documents via the portal. However, there is no way for them to attach something or upload something to us.

Scheduled visits display more patient data
Practices are asking to see more patient data either in the yellow area or in a bubble when hovering over the patient's name. Data like pharmacy, birthdate, MRN#, gender, phone#.

Send only one e-mail to patient when publishing chart to the portal.
When publishing the chart to the portal, the patient receives between 4 and 6 emails stating the portal was updated. This confuses the patient. We use this when patients are seen to update the portal information. They get the 6 emails, and then get frustrated and ask to be removed from the portal.
6 votesThe portal will wait 5 minutes before sending the email. Meaning everything that gets published within 5 minutes only gets one email. This was put in to solve the issues of multiple emails when the CDA/CCR/CCD, etc gets published. This was rolled out in a portal update and did not require any MicroMD application changes.

Patient's date of birth
Anywhere a patient's name is displayed it should also display the date of birth. This is information that practices use to identify patients.

Get rid of the parade of windows and create a flowing progress note that is easy to navigate and visualiize without so many clicks. it is impossible to see the whole note and keep track of things without seeing the whole note. The preview feature does not update in real time. Very frustrating--the whole progress note creation should be restructured, as it does not work in its current format.

Birth History--3 fields--Height, Head and Chest
The fields are not long enough to correctly report the length/width of measurements. If a baby is 18 and 3/4 inches long, you can only report as 18.7 instead of 18.75 inches, same with the Circumrence of Head and width of Chest. Unfortunately the State Of Maine audit did not look favorably on this, reported or accuracy in the comment field of the encounter.

Medication list in the encounter
When a provider reviews the medication list in the encounter. The dosage is not fully displayed. The provider is forced to click on each medication and view it in the window below the list. When a patient has many medications this becomes a very slow process. I would like to see this widow enlarged to view all the information at once. This will allow the provider to move through this process much quicker

Pediatric depression test added to EMR to meet CQM & MU
We are a pediatric office and to meet CQM & MU we are required to do a depression scale on patients, the only depression scale in EMR is for older folks, We need this for pediatric office.
