Please increase the character limit for Authorization code in the Procedure Order from 19 to 30. Authorization codes can be as many as 30+ characters; currently the system only allows 19 characters. ALL authorization code fields in each order should allow up to 30 characters like Referral Order.

Requested Steps to define spec:

1. Open patient chart
2. Go to Medical Information
3. Orders
4. Procedure Order
5. Click on Add
6. Enter authorization number in Authorization Code
7. Click Ok

Expected Result:
Authorization Code will allow more than 19 characters, at least up to 30 characters.
ALL Authorization Code fields should allow up to 30 characters.

Current Result:

currently, Authorization code only allows 19 characters.
Referral Order is the only one that allows 30 characters
All other Orders allows 21 characters.

Impact on Workflow:

HIGH, Customer is completely paperless and cannot track the authorization numbers for Procedure Orders because they can only enter up to 19 characters.

Please note, we contacted support on this issue and they informed us that this is has to be submitted as a feature request. It doesn't make sense as to why we have to submit this as a feature request when the feature exists but needs to be fixed. Customers are not able to track the authorization numbers in each procedure order. Most insurances Authorization codes exceeds 19 characters.
