  1. Add a 'Select All' check box option to the Batch Basket

When faxing or printing items from the Batch Basket, being able to 'select all' items listed would greatly reduce the tedious task of having to click each item individually, especially since it does not take long for the tally of docs to add up.

The function you suggest is available within the application. When you click on the “Select” button on the right hand side of the Batch Basket header, just above the Status column header label, you can then choose All or None.

This suggestion status will be marked as completed, again thank you for the suggestion, if you still have a question about the select all function please contact Software Support.

  2. Maintain expanded ROS and PE fields

When navigating the review and objective fields, you have the option of expanding the list to view it more efficiently. I NEVER use the checkbox fields as they create awkward English when printed or viewed--I free text the field details. When one navigates away to another window, then returns to these windows, the expanded list is not available and one has to click on the expansion icons again. Creates multiple clicks. We should have the option of always viewing the expanded lists in Preferences.

  4. Patient Portal - Select Specific Details To Export

Some patients have inactive information that isn't required to be exported to the CCR/CCD or publish to the Patient Portal. It would be nice to have the ability to select individual items to publish to the portal or export to the CCR/CCD.

  5. Reminder Reports

When running a reminder report we need the option to select a specific provider. We have several clinics and providers in our EMR that share charts.

  6. Phone messages in Summary tab

Description of request: In the summary tab of a patient chart, where phone messages are listed, the SUBJECT of the phone message should be listed under the Chief Complaint column, not the body of the phone message text as it is now.

  7. Add G0438 and G0439 to E/M code list in the EMR

    Var Name: LANtek
Client Name: Drs. Rabinowitz & Ciesielka
    Contact Name: Jim Popp
Description of Request: Practice is saying these codes are E/M codes, and need to be in the list of E/M codes in the EMR. They know these codes are present in the EMR in the procedure code area, but they want them to be in the E/M code list.

  9. View Only User (Medical Information)

Currently there is no role that can be assigned to a user that would allow them to VIEW medical information without being able to EDIT the medical information. I need to be able to assign users with the ability to look up any medical information on a patient, but not to be able to edit it.

  11. version

When our IT management software reports on software installed on our systems, it shows the original version of MicroMD installed on each of the workstations. When the system is updated at the MicroMD login, the version number does not get updated in the system registry, so we end up with a long list of version numbers installed, even though everyone is running the same latest version. It would be great if the client update routine would also update the version info in the registry so reporting apps would show the actual versions being used without having to log into each…

  12. Screening and prevention

When lab Results and results from screening tests come in, provider has requested that the relevant be updated in the screening and prevention section.

For example, if provider orders A1C and the results come in from the lab, then the relevant information from the lab results need to be populated in the screening and preventive section, with a corresponding link to the lab result.

This needs to happen for all labs results as well as test results that have ben ordered and come in...Maybe add a button to update the Screening and prevention information for patient if result is manually…

    1. What is the problem or paint point you are hoping to solve with this new feature?
Obesity medicine practice, the provider is asking for changes to the Vital signs screen. They need to capture the patient's waist circumference as well as hip circumference.

    2. Can you provide any specific use cases or scenarios for this feature?

  14. attachments

From the "Medical Summary", select multiple attachments to print at once rather than going through them individually and sending to printer.

A check box next to each attachment or "select all" and print them as a single document rather than page by page

  15. LTM to automatically update when prescribing new dose/frequency

    Current steps
    1. Add any medication to the LTM list from Med Info section
    2. Open a new encounter
    3. Add the SAME prescription to medication section update the dosage frequency (I increased the units)
    4. Once you filled out sig, click the Add to LTM shorcut

  16. Publish Letters

When in the Medical Information window under letters the publish button tries to send a list of letters to the portal instead of the actual letter. The publish button should send the letter you are highlighted on instead of a list. The list is not useful information to publish.
Also, when you are in the letter include a Publish button to save clicks.

  17. Change Patient Monitor Button

The button to open the Patient Monitor within the EMR is a question mark ("?"). Traditionally with applications a question mark indicates a "Help" menu where someone could find FAQ's, manuals, etc. so this is not intuitive at all. A better option would be to change this icon to the "i" in a bubble that is often used to indicate additional information is available and would be much more intuitive to users.

  19. Allow More Users to "Mark As Seen" Patients Within Scheduled Visits

On the Scheduled Visits tab, only the provider on whose schedule the patient is showing can click the "Mark as Seen" button. This button should be available to more users such as front desk staff that check the patient out to indicate that the patient is no longer at the practice. Many practices have a "provider" setup that's not an actual person (such as a lab/walk-in schedule). Since no one logs in as these "providers" then someone else needs to have access to be able to "Mark as Seen" these patients.

  20. Send Check-Out Information from PM to EMR

When a patient is checked-out in the PM application, this should cross over to the EMR and update the Scheduled Visits list to indicate that the patient has checked-out. Currently, staff is having to create a status in the patient router and manually set the patient to that option in order to indicate that the patient is no longer there.
