  1. Transgender Patients- Add Birth Name Field from Demographics that would display next to legal name when Chart is opened

    We have a large population of transgender patients and appreciate all the new menu options. In the Demographic section there will birth names, etc available in ver 13.5, request that these would display next to the legal name when the chart is opened and print on demographic reports- maybe in parenthesis. This is a very common request for trans patients.

  2. Marking cc'd Lab Results as Viewed by Other Provider off the desktop navigator from the provider assigned to review lab

    When a cc'd Lab Results is marked as viewed by other providers, take it off the list of the intended provider so when the provider returns from leave he/she does not need to go through all labs in his/her desktop navigator. Possible option setting to allow.

  3. Problem List order option

    My client asked that we add the feature to sort the Problem List as entered, allowing an up and down arrow for re-ordering as needed. This is a therapy practice that uses the same diagnoses for most all sessions and the provider needs to see the Primary diagnosis at the top followed by secondary and so on with the chronic issues not being treated by the provider near the bottom. If the order option is not feasible perhaps a way to easily notate with number or alpha character beside the problem.

  4. Referral status of COMPLETED

    There is currently no "Completed" status available in referrals. If we choose "results received" and identify that as our completion notation, we might potentially miss results that were received but not reviewed. Adding a status of Completed would ensure that staff were accountable for ensuring that the referral appointment was kept, results were received and reviewed, patient was notified of results (if needed), and THEN it was complete. Thanks.

  5. Auto send encounter report to PCP if PCP is external to clinic.

    PMCH / good pt. care: if we see a pt. who has a PCP some place else, create a way to automatically send a copy of the encounter report to the patients PCP.

  6. Patient Portal permanent Do Not Publish

    There are numerous situations in which we would not want an item published to the portal, but there is not currently a way to mark an item as DNP, and it STAYS DNP until unmarked. i.e. minor patient has STD test; we can mark it DNP now, but the next time pt is seen, it will auto publish.

  7. Patient Care Plans to Print/Publish in Spanish

    Since many patients are native Spanish-speakers, the Patient Care Plan should be available for printing and publishing from the EMR in English or Spanish depending on the patient's language preference.

  8. Option to prevent signing an encounter that does not have any diagnosis/procedure code listed and/or an encounter level set.

    Fordland Clinic would like an option to require a diagnosis/procedure and/or also require an encounter level set before an encounter can be signed. This could be an option set in the EMR Manager and set on a per user basis. This would work in a similar fashion to required fields in the PM when a new user is created.

  10. Need delete button for encounters posted to the wrong patient

    Am I the only one that wants such a feature? I must find out where people are finding these perfect providers that never ever make a mistake. They need to create some sort of ability for the EMR administrator to do this. Have EMR track who deleted what and when so there is a record.

  13. Add the User drop down list to the Filters under Attachments, Desktop tab.

    Would like to see a User drop down list added under Attachments on the Desktop tab.
    Would like a user drop down list to select other users and view their list of attachments that they have been identified to view and mark as viewed/sign off on. This could be added to the Physician, Practice Manager, or Administrator roles or could be an additional function if it isn’t added to all users.

  14. importing pdfs

    the ability to rebuild (import) frequently used govt and clinic forms which will auto-fill patient information based on available fields. eg SSA Application forms. Most of these forms come as pdfs, so importing pdfs would be a useful to facilitate that operation.

    The Immunizations screen should sort the dates administered, given, missed, and future and have them in chronological order for each vaccine. They are currently listed in the order they are inputed.

  16. Add Behavioral Health as Practice Specialty

    Currently Behavioral Health (Psychiatry/Psychology with Chemical Dependency, IDD etc) is not a distinct specialty which results in adopting a general medical practice practice to fit practice needs.

    needs: "add-ins" for Diagnostic Tests
    standard templates for:
    - mini-mental exam
    - updated mental health (psychiatry AND psychology)HPI
    - updated psychiatric AND psychology evaluation TEMPLATE/wizard
    - inbuilt PHQs
    - ...

  17. Drag and Drop feature for Document Manager

    This would allow multiple documents to be selected from the network scan folder (desktop or where ever the file is located) and added to the patient's chart in one go rather than multiple steps per patient per file.

  18. Patient Portal Account Report

    Add the ability to run a report for a given date (or date range) to view a listing of patients that had a patient portal account created on that day/range. Practices are requesting this to be able to view which patient's seen each day were activated on the portal.

  19. EMR "Copy" User Function

    Ability to "Copy" an existing user. Most practices like to create a new user identical to an existing user. It would be nice to be able to "Copy" the items that are not user-specific and require the user to enter the specific items such as First Name, Last Name, Suffix, username, and password.

    While we plan this feature, we are interested in what all things a user would want to 'copy' to a new user when performing that action.  Some of them may include but are not limited to:


    - Role Permissions

    - Group Affiliations

    - System/User Settings

    - Personal Cliniguides/Templates/Etc.

    - UI Customization (Chart Navigator/Desktop Navigator/etc.)


    What else are you interested in seeing available when copying a user from an existing?


  20. Quick Text - Mark as Obsolete / Deleted

    Include the ability to "Delete" or "Make Obsolete" QuickText items at an administrative level. Currently, if you use the Quick Text "Manager", it will only allow you to add, edit, or delete the items that the currently logged in user created. Therefore, it prevents a manager from cleaning-up this list once it gets cluttered with unused or old entries.
