  2. Hover Text add PCP

    Add the assigned PCP to the hover text in the schedule window. In the EMR schedule view, you can hover over an appointment to see DOB, etc. We are a family practice/urgent care. So our patients may or may not be empaneled with us. We have also had some provider turnover, so it allows the provider who will be seeing a patient a quick view to see who their empaneled PCP is, or if it is an outside provider.

  3. EMR Manager Provider Access Filter BASED ON LOCATION

    Provider an option in EMR Manager tor restrict chart access based on location.

    Currently users have to go in chart by chart/patient by patient to filter access to health information. we would like to have an option in EMR manager where the administrator may restrict providers at location x from having access to patients chart at location y (and that that this access can be interchanged if the providers needs access or is assigned to both locations).

  4. Default filter settings for the Bulk Patient CDA Export.

    Currently in version 12.0.3.32 when you open this window the provider filter defaults to All. This needs to be blank and let the user decide if they would like to select all or an individual provider. We have a large client and this window takes about 20 minutes just to load and the EMR to become usable. MicroMD support says "It always defaulted to All. And depending on the size of the practice could take awhile to load." MicroMD should recognize that large practices do use their software and take that into consideration when making these decisions for default filter…

  5. Patient Recall by Location

    For PCMH we have to send out patient reminders re: screening and prevention, immunizations due, etc. We use the patient recall section for this, but it does not allow us to sort by location/clinic. This would be every helpful because everything submitted for PCMH has to be site-specific.

  6. EMR Duplicate Diagnosis Rule Needed

    We need to be able to make a custom rule in the rules manager to trigger a warning if the provider selects a duplicate diagnosis on the same encounter. We need a diagnosis trigger in the rules manager that will allow the user to ensure the provider cannot select the same ICD 10 code twice on the same encounter. Why does this happen? It can happen because the system has 100+ descriptions for one ICD 10 code. This can confuse the provider who may select two totally different ICD 10 descriptions, but they are actually the same ICD 10 code.…

  7. Requesting that the Start time of the encounter to print out on the encounter report

  8. Copy Administrative Form

    make administrative (custom) forms in patient chart available to be copied.:

    Workflow: Consent forms are resigned annually and many of them with the same information, instead of having to redo the steps of creating a new form it would help having a copy function.

    Some forms need to be resigned on a more frequent basis (e.g. medication authorization forms good for only 30, 60, 90days) a copy feature would save time having to fill in the form from scratch each time the patient comes in

  9. Administrative Forms - Calculated Fields

    When creating an administrative form, it would be very useful in certain scenarios to be able to perform calculations between multiple fields. For instance, in the case of some forms, certain fields must be added together and the sum provides the score for that patient. Currently, the user is having to manually add these values, and enter them by hand into a separate box. It would be useful if you could insert a field, indicate which other fields to add/multiply/divide together, and have it automatically display this value.

  11. Merge Fields Addition for Templates

    Currently the only way to add Doctor's additional credentials to a template is to manually type it in on the report template. This information is not available in a merge field. If there are multiple doctors in the practice, this provider would have to have their own report template.
    If the practice providers setup had additional fields such as Credential #1, Credential #2, Credential #3 and make these available as merge fields for encounter report, letters, admin reports. ei: ABA certified in Anesthesiology and Pain.

  12. Administrative Form Templates

    When creating these for surgery centers it would be nice if we could insert the scanned image of the patient's insurance card. This would eliminate the necessity of adding fields and would give the surgery center all the insurance information they require.

  14. Rx Details in Summary tab needs access to rx history

    Currently you have to have "Write Prescription" permission to doubleclick on a Rx to view details in the Summary tab. This impacts workflow when a patient calls in inquiring about why their Rx hasn't made it to the pharmacy. Most of these calls are handled by front desk personnel and if they don't have "Write Prescription" permission they can go to the workflow communication to see the rx request history. However it would be nice to access the rx history right from the summary tab.

    When printing chart for fax or print from EMR allow options to choose attachments, labs and messages as well as to include in the summary format text from the form templates text fields

  16. Patient Portal: "Read" Messages Clutter Inbox

    When a user is logged into the Patient Portal's administration application, they are constantly bombarded with "Read" messages coming from the patients. While this is good information to receive, it is hard to filter out the messages that warrant action on behalf of the user. Currently, the only option that the user has is to "Archive" these messages as they come in. For a practice that is receiving a very high number of these messages, this can be a very time-consuming process. It would be nice to either:

  17. Wizard templates ability to modify margins and correct spacing between sub-headings

    wizard templates automatically add lines between sub-headings (SOAP) if a provider doesn't document in one area there are extra spaces left that need to be manually edited during creation of the encounter report. Also the margins are not modifiable which would be helpful.

  18. Editing or Deleting Prescription Once Printed from Encounter

    It would be nice to be able to edit or delete a prescription once it has already been printed. Right now if the provider needs to change it prior to signing the encounter, they need to add another prescription, sign off and then delete the incorrect script from the Medical Info tab which is inconvenient.

  19. Portal User Scroll Bar Missing

    Place a scroll bar beside the list of portal accounts when mapping a user account. Not all users have scroll wheels on their mouse and would prevent them from scrolling to the bottom of the list.

  20. Alphabetize Patient Portal Users

    Alphabetize the patient portal user list under Communication > Patient Portal > Edit and under the Mapping of the individual users. When a practice has a large number of users, this poses a problem when needing to "Edit" the account to change a password, etc.
