Lab orders - Print ICD Code Description
Add ability to print or suppress ICD code descriptions on printed lab orders. The ICD code prints on the lab order, but the user sometimes has to look up the ICD code and write in the code description (if the lab order goes to a third-party clinic the third-party clinic asks for the descriptions for the ICD codes). This causes more work for the staff because they have to look up the ICD codes and print on the orders.

Search option
There needs to be a search option in the EMR for example if I need a colonoscopy report it should be a quick find without looking in document manager or attachments. This is an option with many other EMR and is very productive use of my time

Default encounter report printing to custom report
When printing encounter report from tool bar, default the selected report to the last used - expert setting.
AND/OR if possible, if wizard used for that encounter with custom encounter report attached, default that custom report when printing encounter report from tool bar.Once you select “Encounter Report” on either print option, the window below pops up for you to select your options for printing. You can see that the system automatically chooses the MicroMD standard report option instead of populating the report template that was attached the wizard template for this encounter.
This causes a longer process for the…0 votes -
CURRENT LIST vs common list
When making a selection in an encounter the COMMON LIST is set as the default as OPPOSED tot he CURRENT LIST
for example - prescribing a medication - it defaults to common list not the acutal CURRENT LONG TERM MEdS
when adding a DX for justification it displays COMMON list as opposed to CURRENT PROBLEM list
Please allow the CURRENT INFO to be defaulted as opposed to common info
1 voteThis is already possible within the system. There are user preferences within Prescriptions to default to current and LTM medications. Additionally, current problem list is available within the dropdown area next to the dx justification area. If you have any further questions on this please contact our support team!

Portal Updates Emergency Access
When queuing CDA's from the Portal Updates area of the Desktop, if the user does not have access to a patient's chart, it generates an error stating "Permission to view patient medical data has not been granted." However, the user is not attempting to VIEW the data but is simply trying to publish the information to the portal. The user should still be able to queue these items as long as they are not trying to view/edit any of the information.
1 voteThis is working as designed and can not be changed as requested a user can access data if this is done to restrict what is included, only users with permission to the chart can be able to do this.

Prescription pad and access to other areas in the EMR
Once you are in the prescription pad you are unable to navigate back into the ER to look for information on the problem list/encounters. It would be helpful to have this screen open as well as be able to open other screens in the EMR

Prescriptions End date
If the long-term medication list the number of tablets and number of refills; it would be helpful for the end date automatically populate when the medication is to be prescribed.
New prescriptions will include statements like take the medication for 1 month - this is confusing to the patient's because they will stop taking their medications; This is the only way the end date is now populating

prescription monitor
The provider believes that in the Prescription Monitoring the pharmacy on the left side of the Prescription Processing window should match the pharmacy on the right side. The provider says that since this is a script sent in the past should reflect the pharmacy the script was actually sent to on both sides of the window.

Write prescriptions on behalf of - limit providers
When this additional function is given it should enable a new tab to select active providers. This would lock down the user to only have the ability to prescribe on behalf of the selected providers in that list. Currently when this additional function is given it applies to all active providers. The reference manual suggests modifying the users common list to only show the necessary providers. However this does not prevent the user from selecting all and choosing another provider who they should not be prescribing on behalf of.

Practice Set for Expiring Orders
We would like a practice setting for expiring orders. Currently, the only way to do this is one by one. I would like to be able to set expiration timeframes in the system that when an order is left requested/partially performed status after "set time" by order type that the order is expired.
Example: Patient is told to come back and get repeat labs. Patient never shows. Lab order would change status from requested to expired if it was not performed after set timeframe.

Please fix the Structured Sig in the prescription writer.
For an example: We have been trying to write the prescription for Medrol Dose pack. The sig is too long to send to the pharmacy using the current character restrictions. Also, we cannot write for day 2 "take 3 tabs AM and 2 PM" as the structure does not allow for this.
Many people take one pill in the Am and 2 pm, or some such mix of medication. This needs to be factored into the structured sig. Also, the providers are frustrated that inhalers cannot be prescribed as an 'inhaler', but they have to figure out how many milligrams…

Procedure and referral orders have a place to enter scheduled on date and time. I would like to be able to filter or sort by the scheduled on date in order to follow up. Right now I have to open each order to check the scheduled on date. No way to easily see or filter on that scheduled date.

Drug Allergy
Would it be possible to get the actual Drug Allergy moved to top of the warning list? We have noticed when a patient has a drug allergy it does reflect in the warning but sometimes it is all the way down the list of warnings and could possibly be overlooked.
1 voteThe sort is on the severity this will not/cannot be changed due to rx certifications, We will look into a secondary sort but I’m not sure if there is a logical priority of the different types. We are making some changes in the warnings in the next version

Appointments to Portal
Have all new appointments optionally send to the portal. Today practices need to subscribe to another appointment reminder service even though they have another avenue they already subscribe to that can communicate with the patients (the portal). While maybe not as robust as a full appointment reminder service, it would allow some form of communication about the appointment without another subscription.
