In the Patient Plan Sets show date insurance card was last scanned.
It would be helpful to know the last time the insurance card was scanned into the patient record. This is especially true for the billing office who rairly sees the patient.

Merge Duplicate Patients in PM
Would like to be able to merge duplicate patients in the PM. This feature is great in the EMR, but we need this feature in the PM as well.

Plan list
The active insurance should be listed on top, not at the bottom of the list.

print coinsurance % on charge slip
When we print charge slips for patients that have a coinsurance %, it does not print in the plan set information. We have to go back into the PM system and look it up each time. It would be more efficient to be able to print the % as a coinsurance on the charge slip, especially since that is one of the options in the plan sets tab to choose copay or coinsurance.

Indicating guardian for patients who are minors
If a patient is a minor, have something in PM indicating so, and prompting a new box where guardian (parent) name and phone numbers can be entered. We rarely call a 5 year old to remind him of their appointment, or ask questions about a medical record. Right now we have to list parents names, numbers in notes, and it is inconvenient

Allow users to search for a patient by responsible party
Currently, there is no way to search for the list of responsible parties. When we get bankruptcy notices for an individual, they might be the responsible party but we have no way to search for them in the database. This should be a search option when you hit 'F5'.

Copy existing patient insurance plan information to new patient with same insurance information
I would like to see a field where you can enter an existing patient's medical record number and it will pull that patient's insurance information to the new patient's plan set (similar to entering an existing patient's policy holders information). We often times have a parent call and they make an appointment for a child who has not been seen, and they say, "all the insurance information is the same as another child, just use that information." Right now we have to print the demographics and manually enter the information again. Wouldn't it be nice to enter a medical record…

CHC additional required fields
Please add the additional required demographic fields to the required options for the practice setup so we ensure the staff gathers all the details needed.

Online Forms
When patients are filling out online forms sometimes it will kick them out or time out and are unable to finish completing them. On the MMDEngage im able to see that they are in progress but cannot see where they left off. Give me the opportunity to click on the "In Progress" questionnaires like it does for the "Completed" section.

Relationship codes in Insurance Plan Policy dropdown do not match ANSI requirements
The required ANSI Relationship codes do not match what is is the Master Relationship table. For example ANSI requires "Child" and there are 4 child codes in the master table. The correct code dropdown is "Natural Child" but there are 3 others the practice can choose from. This causes billing errors. Suggest the Relationship dropdown in Policyholder entry only contain the ANSI relationship codes to eliminate confusion and billing errors.

Patient Detail Sheet under Print Patient Info - Need additional information on form printed
On Print patient Info Form, practice would also like to see Cell Phone information for the patient in addition to Home and work phone information.
In addition, plans should report all plans patient has active in the system.

Primary, secondary phone numbers under patient details.
Instead of having home, work, alternative, cell phone as options for patient details, I would like to see primary contact, secondary contact, tertiary contact, etc, with a drop down menu next to it for a description if this primary, secondary etc contact is home, work, cell, alt number.

Insurance Default in Patient Maintenance
MicorMD currently assigns the first plan set added as the "system default" plan set (in yellow), and this can't be changed. Users would like the ability to determine which plan set is the system default.

Language Default
I would like submit an enhancement request to include a setting in the PM where you can set a default Language (English) so users do not have to scroll through the entire list to accept English; or the option to set it as the first display order in the master table.
1 voteThis suggestion is a duplicate to a previous user suggestion. In our version 8.0 English will be the first in the display order.Adding a default setting was decided against due to the impact this may have on proper reporting outcomes, having a user verify this is set properly would insure correct reporting. Look for version 8.0 to be released shortly.
