I would like to see a field where you can enter an existing patient's medical record number and it will pull that patient's insurance information to the new patient's plan set (similar to entering an existing patient's policy holders information). We often times have a parent call and they make an appointment for a child who has not been seen, and they say, "all the insurance information is the same as another child, just use that information." Right now we have to print the demographics and manually enter the information again. Wouldn't it be nice to enter a medical record number from another existing patient and have that data exported/imported to the new patient?
