  1. add ability to see date of birth in daily view

    Our practice has several patients with the same names. It would be very helpful to have the date of birth displayed in the daily view.

  2. email receipt

    Ability to email receipts to patients directly from PM instead of saving as PDF and emailing separately- Most do not want it printed but emailed to them now.

  3. Add Confirmation Window When User Changes Password from Login Screen

    There really needs to be a "Confirm New Password" window added to the 'Set Password dialogue box. Every 90 days, I have to reset a percentage of users as what they actually typed does not agree with what they think they typed.

  4. Updating the DME requirements

    The current forms required by CMS are outdated or non-existent. After charges are entered, you click on the extra tab located to the far right. The user will choose which form to complete. Can you please update. I've attached the DMS requirements and copies of the forms

  5. Client is requesting to be able to Archive Classsifications in the PM

    Client is requesting to be able to Archive Classifications in the PM that they no longer use. I went over how we added the option to archive old apt/week templates but they are wanting the classes to also be archived.

  6. Appointment request notes missing after appointment is made.

    When an appointment request is made from the EMR you can add Patient Instructions and Additional Requirements notes. These notes flow over to the PM within the request. In the Appointment Request box, the red triangle contains both notes. Once the appointment is made, the provider's notes can no longer be seen from the PM. We have a client that would like for these notes to be kept for reference on the appointment, after it has been dragged to a schedule.

  7. Relationship codes in Insurance Plan Policy dropdown do not match ANSI requirements

    The required ANSI Relationship codes do not match what is is the Master Relationship table. For example ANSI requires "Child" and there are 4 child codes in the master table. The correct code dropdown is "Natural Child" but there are 3 others the practice can choose from. This causes billing errors. Suggest the Relationship dropdown in Policyholder entry only contain the ANSI relationship codes to eliminate confusion and billing errors.

  8. Increase changes auto applied to MicroMD from Practice Insight Web portal

    While it is a great feature that when scrubbed - changes to a claim can be made on the PI website -and sent straight to the clearinghouse, only changes from a limited number of fields write back into the MIcroMD program. This list should be expanded to cover very common items that are changed on the fly in PI - such as a policy number correction. This would allow practices to take full advantage of this feature and not have to go back to MicroMD - make the change and resubmit -

  9. Patient Detail Sheet under Print Patient Info - Need additional information on form printed

    On Print patient Info Form, practice would also like to see Cell Phone information for the patient in addition to Home and work phone information.

    In addition, plans should report all plans patient has active in the system.

  11. Add the ability to pull the case and plan selection from the appointment

    Currently if you select the case and plan on the appointment screen for a patient it doesn't populate on the charges screen when you go to enter that charge. It still has to be manually changed. It would be nice since the fields are on the appt screen for it to be able to populate on the charge screen with that information.

    Thank You for your suggestion the Practice Management application has the means to pull this information build in it already. By using the charge slip printing and the charge slip list in the charges/payment window the case and plan will populate accordingly. If assistance is needed with this function please contact software support.

  12. Missing Charge Slip Report enhancement

    Now that so many clients are interfacing billing from their EMRs into the PM system via pending charges, can the charges posted via the pending charges process also write to the Missing Charge Slip Report? It would seem this should be the next logical step in providing an audit trail to capture all charges. Without this, clients have accounts on the missing charge slip report that actually have charges posted.

  13. CPT descriptor doesn't transmit to Medicare

    For electronic claims, Medicare does not see the description of the cpt codes. One of the MicroMD reps said the issue is with the clearinghouse not capturing from Micromd. The only work around that has been given is time consuming, manual data entry. The rep said we must type the description manually put into the "red book". This is not realistic, as our volume is at least 1500 line items per month. This is a deficiency with MicroMD, that other practice management systems do not face. We are recommending that the descriptor for the CPT transmit to Medicare electronically.

  14. Primary, secondary phone numbers under patient details.

    Instead of having home, work, alternative, cell phone as options for patient details, I would like to see primary contact, secondary contact, tertiary contact, etc, with a drop down menu next to it for a description if this primary, secondary etc contact is home, work, cell, alt number.

  15. Insurance Default in Patient Maintenance

    MicorMD currently assigns the first plan set added as the "system default" plan set (in yellow), and this can't be changed. Users would like the ability to determine which plan set is the system default.

  16. Language Default

    I would like submit an enhancement request to include a setting in the PM where you can set a default Language (English) so users do not have to scroll through the entire list to accept English; or the option to set it as the first display order in the master table.

    This suggestion is a duplicate to a previous user suggestion. In our version 8.0 English will be the first in the display order.Adding a default setting was decided against due to the impact this may have on proper reporting outcomes, having a user verify this is set properly would insure correct reporting. Look for version 8.0 to be released shortly.
