Improve the visual indicators between a revised encounter and the revision
The distinction between an encounter that has been revised and the revision encounter are not clear enough and opens the door for medical errors and distribution of outdated encounter notes. Make it clear – either hide the revised encounter from view -or allow a strike through visual indicator etc. or make the working different - perhaps an icon on the summary tab next to a revised encounter or a note on the revised encounter to "see revision encounter".

RX requested/sent to pharmacy
In EMR; Prescriptions that are marked as phoned in and assigned to a person should be placed in the RX sent to pharmacy once the assignment is marked as completed. I believe once the assignment is completed the prescription is being sent to the pharmacy via telephone so they are no longer just a RX request

Patient Messages be included in the options to include on Summary Tab of patient's chart
Description of Request: Right now you can view almost any workflow communication category in the Summary Tab of the patients chart EXCEPT for Patient Messages. This is especially important for those providers utilizing the Patient Portal as this is the area where you can publish a message to the patient's portal without including a specific piece of medical information. Just as any other correspondence between caregiver and patient is important to see in date specific order in the Summary Tab, patient messages should be included as a filter option.
Actual Result: Providers have to look at Workflow Communication AND Summary…5 votesIn version 13.5 patient messages via Secure Chart will be visible and showing in mail and on summary tab when mail filter is selected.

Messages attached to Med Info that is published to the Portal be saved into the patients chart
Description of Request: Currently, if a physician publishes lab results to the portal for a patient and types up a message to go along wtih the results, that message cannot be seen or retrieved from the patients chart. When looking back at the patients chart you can see that a message was sent but have no idea the contents or detail of it.
Expected Result: When opening up the Publish Log in the patients chart, we would see the actual item published along with the message sent.5 votesCompleted in version 12.0 MicroMD ref id 21507

When entering Family History, reorganize the data fields
When entering Family History, reorganize the data fields so that you can enter Family Member A, and then input all of the diagnosis codes associated with that family member before moving to Family Member B. Too cumbersome to enter Family Member A if there are 6 different dx codes

Patient's weight automatically converted to Kilograms and visible in the Prescription Pad
In Vitals, we'd like to continue to enter the patients weight in pounds and ounces but have MicroMD automatically convert this into Kilograms, similar to how it currently computes BMI. We'd like this visible in Vitals screen as well as in the Prescription Pad as most strengths and dosages of medications are determined based on weight in Kilograms.
Requested Steps and Expected Result: see above
Actual Result: weight can be entered in Vitals in metric OR imperial format (set in EMR Manager)
Impact on Workflow: Provider has to manually compute weight in pounds/ounces to Kilograms while choosing strength/dosage of medications.1 voteThe setting in the EMR Manager only controls the display in the Rx Pad to show imperial or metric weight. It was tested in versions 7.6 and above to confirm it is working this way, this would resolve this suggestion with current functionality.

Add the ability to re-order the tabs in the plan step of the wizard.
I really like the new custom tabs that can be added to the plan step of the wizard. However I would like to be able to re-order the plan tabs so that my newly created custom tabs are not to the far right requiring scrolling. I would rather have my least used tabs to the right to minimize scrolling.
