  1. Need the ability to scan Documents directly in Document Manager of EMR using PDF format

    Currently, MicroMD is only supporting the jpg format and does not provide the user the option of deciding whether they want the format of the document scanned to be pdf of jpg. This is causing problems when multiple pages need to be scanned and viewed by the physician as one document. We need the ability to scan documents into Document Manager in more than one format and allow physicians capability to scroll through multiple pages of a document using the next button. Also, please make sure we can change the scanner settings if we want to before scanning..

  2. Security Changes

    In EMR change the security to be similar to the PM. Almost all of my staff are set as nurses so they may view the encounters. This is ludicrous, we should be able to control every aspect of security to allow which users have read and write access to all areas. The ease of the template is great, but allow me to modify the template to change access levels.

  3. Routing History

    I would like to request a feature request that would separate or (have like a subtotal time) when patients are checked out. Like I said before, the patients are checked out when we account for checked out status in the routing history. Wait times calculations should reflect true patient wait times and should stop at checked out. When doing random audits, and the provider has not signed the encounter, true wait time appears at the checked out status. But when the provider signs the encounter and it changes to seen today, the total waited is calculating the time it took…

  4. Spell Check within a wizard template encounter

    When a phone encounter is created there is a spell check button at the top, but when in an encounter template with a wizard there is not spell check. Can that be added?

  5. Who's NOT on the portal

    Should be able to run a report in EMR that list the patients that are not on the portal. This list could be used to market the portal to those patients via a phone call, letter, or demandforce email.

    We need a report for the office managers to be able to view the list of outstanding issues (Phone Messages, Reminders, Medical Record Requests) in EMR of their staff

  7. Add Pharmacy Information String Fields

    Add Pharmacy information string fields (Pharmacy Name, Pharmacy Address, Phone number, and Fax number) to the Prescription Template Builder

    Requested Steps to define spec:
    1. Log in to EMR
    2. Click on Administration
    3. Prescription Template Manager
    4. New
    5. Add a String Field
    6. Choose a Default of Pharmacy Name, Pharmacy Address, Phone number, or Fax number
    7. Ok

    Expected Result:
    ability to add string fields for Pharmacy Name, Pharmacy Address, Phone number, and Fax number, when printing a prescription using the template that was created, the Pharmacy information will print along with it

  8. Patient Groups Displayed

    In the often blank space at the top-right of the patient's open chart, could it be possible to display more than 5 group types?

    Rather than having to double click to see all the groups a patient belongs to, it would be much more convenient to see all groups applied to a patient's chart, displayed in plain sight.

  9. Add capability to automatically submit information to a portal once practice decides the information needed

    Practices want the capability of publishing information they want to publish in an automated manner once they decide on basic set of information they want to publish for the patient. This could include appointment information, lab results, CCR/CCD/C-CDA or other information. right now, this is a very cumbersome process.

  10. Rule Manager additional logic

    It would be nice if the rule manager had more logic when triggering items. For instance I created a rule that when saving an encounter and the patient was X weight parameters and X age parameters (to help with MU on BMI) that it would tell the provider to add the appropriate procedure code(s) to the encounter. However when the code has been added and they go back and forth in the note they get this rule over and over upon saving. Once the correct code has been entered it needs to be marked complete somehow so to keep this…

  11. Notify multiple providers when attaching a document to a chart

    Our medical scanner, from the desktop, opens her incoming fax queue, opens one of the documents from there. Chooses a patient, then at the bottom right of the window, can select one provider to notify as she submits the attachment. We would like to be able to select multiple providers so that we do not create more than one instance of the document on the patients chart. Also be able to select groups that are setup.

  12. Make Custom and Inhouse Labs inactive.

    In the EMR Manager under In-House Settings, users would like the ability to make labs inactive instead of deleting them. If they are deleted they are removed from the patients chart and can no longer be reported on. Currently users will edit a lab description but this cannot prevent a users from still ordering that lab. Making the lab inactive would prevent an erroneous order and force users to update their common lists appropriately.

  13. Allow filters at Medical Info, medications, once chosen, to remain for the session

    Request: Move the filters for medications to the user preferences, so that the user can make the choice to show any or all of the LTM, current, prescription or other - and it will set the filters for every session. If that is not possible, then on the medical info tab of patient chart, medications menu, once the user makes a choice using the filter boxes, allow those choices to follow user throughout session.

  15. Time Restriction on Unsigned Encounters

    Ability to set a limit in the manager for the length of days an unsigned encounter can stay unsigned. Same result as other restrictions where the provider is required to sign the note before creating new encounters.

  16. Prescriptions via surescripts generated within encounter should reflect location provider currently logged into.

    When a practice has multiple locations, prescriptions within an encounter generated via surescripts show the providers main address from the EMR manager.

    If the provider is logged into a location other than that main address, the prescriptions should reflect that location. As a result, the main office location is receiving calls from pharmacies with questions they cannot answer as the provider is not at that location.

  17. Patient Portal - View/Print Previously Submitted Forms

    When patients submit forms on the Patient Portal, they do not have the ability to go back and see the forms that they have submitted. It would be nice to have the ability to go back (on the patient-end) and either view and/or print the forms that have already been submitted. (Request ID: 13739)

  18. Patient Portal - Inactive/Resolved/Terminated Items Getting Published

    When publishing any individual area to the patient portal, inactive/resolved/terminated items are also published and seems to be very confusing to the patients. It would be nice to make it clearer to the patient that these items are inactive/resolved/terminated and are not active items. (Request ID: 13920)

  19. Attachments to orders older than 6 months

    When adding an attachment to an order. The drop down of list of orders is only within the last 6 months. Our practices enter orders at the time of physicals for mammagrams. they don't always coinside with the time of the physical exams. This needs to be parameterized not hard coded.

  20. Print fasting/non-fasting status on lab results

    Description of Request: Be specific, detailed where and how this function would work and enhance the users experience. On the lab results, it would be good to see whether the patient was fasting or not. Right now, if we want to see if the patient was fasting we have to actually open up the order and see if fasting is checked or not. It would be very benefitial and more efficient if fasting status showed up on the result.

    This suggestion is in the planning stage, a work around will be put in place first by adding the fasting in the note area of the result. In a future version a field/label will be added to capture this and display seperate from the notes area.
