Adding Secondary Insurance Fields In Administrative Form Templates
Most of the EMR clients use these forms to send to surgery centers to reserve a time for their patient's surgery. Filling out these forms by hand then faxing them is very time consuming for a practice. With the Administrative Forms and Interfax this task becomes less time consuming. The problem is most of these surgery centers require a secondary insurance. In order to accomplish this currently, the practice needs to add this. I would like to suggest we create a field for this to pull in like the Primary Insurance
1 voteThank you for the suggestion in the future version 13 the plan set concept will be introduced in the EMR which in turn will allow additions to the EMR Admin forms and other areas to have fields for primary, secondary and tert. and the selection of the specific set that will merge.

Need "ALL PROVIDERS" Option Instead of "ALL STAFF" Option
When running Meaningful Use reports (Clinical Quality and Objective) within the EMR, include an option to run for "All PROVIDERS". Currently, if you run the reports for "ALL" providers, it counts all staff, regardless of role within the organization.
For instance, if a front desk user happens to document something in an encounter (such as a no-show, etc.), this front desk user is then counted when running the Meaningful Use report for "ALL" when that is technically incorrect.

Ability to add a Text template to an Encounter Wizard
On step 2 of the Encounter Wizard allow the user to add a Text template similar to how you can add a Cliniguide; allowing the user to select the step of the Wizard to apply it to.
This would be a time saver for users who consistently utilize the same Text template.

History Recorder Shortcut on Encounter Ribbon
When in an encounter, it would be useful to have a button/link to the "History Recorder" instead of having to access the History Recorder from outside of the encounter.
Currently, the only way to access the History Recorder within an encounter is to use an Encounter Wizard. The remaining options for encounters do not have this availability.

Add Mail button in "View Grouped" lab results
When viewing grouped lab results you can't get to the mail button to send a task to staff to call patient with results. You have to exit the view and if you set the results to "viewed" you lose them on your list. Need "mail" button inside View Grouped panel.

PHQ9 Addition for NQF-0418 & NQF-0712 Measures
Since meaningful use measures NQF0418 and NQF0712 require the result of the PHQ9 measuring tool, it would be highly useful to include this tool within the EMR. Currently, practices have to create an encounter template or a administrative form in order to capture this data.
Thoughts are:
1) To place this tool within the EMR so that it can be added from the encounter.
2) Populate the tool with discrete data.
3) System should sum the totals of each item and calculate the total score for the patient/visit.

Portal Message Needs QT option
It would be nice to create some standard QT options for the patient portal messages. "Lab results are normal. Please call the office for any questions" or "Your medications list was changed at your last visit. Please review and call the office if you have any questions." The person pushing the messages shouldn't have to type those standard messages every time.

ABN Form modification needed based on CMS requirements - Full Address and Phone necessary
The practice's full address and phone are required to be on the ABN form. Current form only includes address line 1 and no phone number.

Grouped Labs
When viewing the labs as grouped the new ver10 allows you to add a comment. This is good. The issue is that comment does not appear on the labs if you print or publish from the group. This would be dandy so the provider can put in his comments, then send or print the labs for the patient to see.

Move vertical scrollbar in immunizations screen so it shows in "normal" view of immunizations within an encounter
If you include a medical information step in a Wizard Encounter, and you include immunizations in the medical information step, if you click on immunizations, the vertical scrollbar to scroll through the immunizations is not immediately apparent. If you view the immunizations from the Medical Info button in the Ribbon Bar, the vertical scrollbar is immediately apparent at the right side of the immunizations grid window. Add Select All to Henry Schein Secure Chart
Please enhance the Henry Schein Secure Chart to allow to click Select All so it'll allow users to Archive more than one item at a time and avoid having to manually click one item at a time. There's an option to Unselect All, but not option to Select All.

Reports in the EMR need to be able to be run with an "Unduplicated" or "Distinct" patient option.
The following reports need to be able to select/run with an unduplicated option:
Encounters (Clinical) - Patients with given diagnosis in given time period.
Encounters (Clinical) - Patients' Procedures
Encounters (Clinical) - Patients with given diagnosis prescribed given medication ingredient

Diagnosis Descriptions Not Accurate
If we had the ability to delete the dianosis codes that are not accurate (we can only edit), then I could make sure the codes in there are the ones the provider chooses. For example, code 796.9 means "Other nonspecific abnormal findings" but in the EMR, there are over 100+ descriptions for this code that range from "decreased coughing" to "hip pain". If the provider chooses that code for hip pain, but it comes over to PM for billing, it not specific enough and gets denied. I have been putting "XX" in the description, but it's hard to catch all…

weeks of gestation in diagnosis field
In ob module we would like to see weeks of gestation in diagnosis field as for icd-10 we need to know weeks of gestation for each visit. So if in blue ribbon where EDD and gravida and para comes if you can add weeks gestation over there.

Ability to attach a text template to a wizard as text step when creating wizards - like cliniguides can be attached
When choosing an encounter workflow that has at least 1 step of the wizard as a text step, users should have the ability to pre-assign the desired text template to that step like you can assign a clinigude to load automatically when the wizard is opened. Currently when you are using a wizard and get to the text step you have to stop and click to open the desired text template, there should be the ability to default what text template is loaded in this step ... AND the ability to clear it - and load a different one.

Ability to have an open box of medical chart info - while documenting the note
have a user preference to keep open a medical summary or dashboard type of tool while the note is being documented so that providers can quickly scroll through key medical data while charting without having to click and drill.

Add a feature to allow patients to fill out clinical data forms and have it import as discrete data into the EMR for FASTER Registration and to ease the time burden to capture the data.

Text Encounter - Ability to read the header section in SOAP Note and extract discrete elements under that section
When a text encounter is created, notes are created under Subjective, Objective, Assessment, Medications and Plan. The system should have the capability to just read this header, and parse information under that section into appropriate discrete elements to allow practices the flexibility to enter notes in Dragon etc and at the same time capture discrete information needed for reporting and analysis purposes.

Portal account flag
Much like the idea of automatically adding a patient with a portal account to a Portal Group, our feature request is for a flag to appear on the Scheduled Visits screen next to the names of those that already have a portal account. It would be similar to the flag that appears when an encounter is created or if a post-it message exists for a patient.
