  1. Add functionality to chart reports to attach specific documents from DMS

    Description of Request: Client would like the ability to be able to add specific documents from DMS when printing a chart report.

    Requested Steps to define spec:
    1. Click on Chart reports from either the desktop tools or the chart tools
    2. Choose the chart option

    Expected Result: The client would like the ability within this window to not only specify what medical information should be included but also be able to specify documents stored within DMS.

  2. I would like to have the Other category removed from the EMR system.

    The Other category lists the same tests that are listed for Labcorp our reference lab. Providers are choosing the Other category by mistake on a regular basis. We cannot process the lab order unless it is listed under Labcorp.The Other category serves no purpose at our facility.Removing it would make things a lot simpler. Would like the ability to disable Other labs in the EMR Manager. Once disabled EMR users would no longer see Other labs as an option throughout the EMR. Example attached.

  3. Procedure Orders sent thru EMR fax-add more patient info including social security # and more phone contact numbers for patient

    On cloud based EMR-when we create an order-say a mammogram request-and then fax that order to the local hospital thru the fax in the EMR-

    the order that is faxed has a box on it for patient information-

    in it, only patient name, address, one phone # and DOB and gender is in it.

    Any way to add: Social security number and additional phone #'s and email in that box?

    The local hospital we use only uses SS # for patient ID and they have asked for it as well as for additional phone #'s to contact the patient.

  4. Option to default "Assigned to" in plan order based on location logged into

    Description of Request:The client would like a user preference that would allow them to set specific user/group to "Assigned to" in plan orders based on the specific location the provider is logged into. For example: provider logs into one of several locations (Virginia City). the provider would have an option in user preferences that he can set for plan orders for Virginia City to use for example: Virginia City nurses to do procedure, lab or referral orders. This would prevent the doctors from forgetting to set their assigned tos and them going to the wrong group of users.

  5. Pharmacy Information Display on Scheduled Visits Screen

    It would be very useful if the current pharmacy information displayed when the patient is highlighted on the Scheduled Visits screen in EMR. Currently, the chart must be opened to see this information. In a busy office, and because many patients change pharmacies so often, it would be very useful to see it before having to open the chart.

  6. Diagnostic Test Results entered by provider should not go to his desktop for viewing

    Description of Request: The Doctor would like for Diagnostic Test Results that he adds himself to the med info in chart, not to go to his desktop to be viewed as he has already viewed them when entering.
    This would only be when the provider is entering the test result for himself.

  7. Drug Allergy

    Would it be possible to get the actual Drug Allergy moved to top of the warning list? We have noticed when a patient has a drug allergy it does reflect in the warning but sometimes it is all the way down the list of warnings and could possibly be overlooked.

    The sort is on the severity this will not/cannot be changed due to rx certifications, We will look into a secondary sort but I’m not sure if there is a logical priority of the different types. We are making some changes in the warnings in the next version

  8. Approving multiple refill requests from a single patient

    We have a provider that would like to be able to approve multiple refill requests from a single patient at one time instead of approving them individually.

  9. Not Allow Users to Save to Password Protected DMS Folders

    Description of Request: There is a current function in the EMR DMS that allows users to password protect folders. The password stops uses from viewing the contents of the folder, but users are still permitted to save to folder and view attachments from charts that are saved in that password protected folder.

    Nuestra would like to see the password prompt show up when trying to open the folder in DMS (as it does now), when trying to save attachments to the folder from the EMR Desktop or patient chart or when viewing attachments from the patient chart that are located…

  10. Add active flag in insurance plan manager

    When changing an insurance status in PM from Active to Inactive or deleting the plan, the customer would like for this status change to update the Insurance Manager in the EMR. Add an active flag in the EMR plan details to hide inactive plans when searching in the insurance manger.

    Expected Result: Add flag in the EMR plan details which in the Insurance Manager in EMR to reflect changes made in the PM when activating/inactivating insurances.

  11. Give provider Utilities button on test results on the desktop

    Description of Request: Provider is requesting that a Utilities button be available on test results on the desktop. Currently, only nurses have this button, so they are the only ones that can write letters from the desktop test results.

  12. Patient Lookup Button

    When searching for a patient in Scheduled Visits, Portal Updates, Orders, etc., once you enter a patient name or select a patient from the search box, you can no longer use the lookup button. We would like for the lookup button to continue to work after a patient name as been selected and without having to clear out the patient name.

  13. Patient Portal Passwords stored with a hash

    For the Patient Portal passwords to be stored with some type of hash in the database itself. When an error is displayed during the publishing, the password is displayed in plain text.

    Expected Result: For the person querying the table not to see plain text passwords or the password to should not be displayed in plain text in an error message

  14. Including "attachments" to the list of items that can be faxed from the patients chart

    When faxing from a patients chart, there are check boxes within the "Medical Information report" where you can choose what you want to fax out from the patients chart. At this time there is no check mark for the Attachments that are in the chart. It would be very helpful if we could include those as well. That's where some of the patient forms live and being able to include them when faxing a chart to a facility would be great!

  15. Show Procedure Codes in EMR Manager

    When creating a Practice Preferred list, it would be extremely helpful if the procedure codes showed up for Plans and Labs either at the beginning or end of the text or appeared in hover text. As of right now, the individual who is making the list does not know what labs are the correct ones since all that is displayed is text.

  16. use of current icd-10 instead of obsolete codes

    I would like there to be a way for the practice to use only active codes based on the current version of ICD-10. Once October 1 comes around, I would like the system to automatically disallow a provider from selecting old codes without having to manually marking them as obsolete. This is a separate issue from using codes from the patient's problem list, although it would be nice if when the provider chose a code that is obsolete from the patient's problem list it would prompt the provider to update it.

  17. Patient portal opt-out

    The wording on the portal for health information opt-out is very misleading, and we want to request that it is changed to:

    "Would you like to block access to messages and health records?"

    Instead of:
    "Would you like to block the receipt of messages and health records?"

    This would be more inline with what is actually happening in the background. Ideally, it would be nice to have an option where the clinic can choose to block CDAs from going over if patients have opted out.

  18. Copy Encounter Type is not accurate

    When copying an encounter, the Type Column is not accurate. Currently the Type column lists all pre-encounters and encounters, but the description in the type column lists them all as "Encounter". I think the Type description should list "Encounter" and "Pre-Encounter" or should not show pre-encounters in this screen at all. See screen shots attached.

  19. Add ability to resize the Form Template Builder Window

    The Form Template Builder window is used to create custom forms. It has a "preview" button to show you real time progress and how the form will look as you make changes. However, while you are creating the form, there is now way to make the window larger. It's not efficient to have the window default to a size that make you scroll horizontally and vertically while working on the template. Please add the functionality to adjust the window size so the extra scrolling up or down is avoided.

  20. Have the ability to create a workflow or Wizard for intake form completion or at least the ability to group them together.

    We would love to have the ability to create a wizard or workflow for the completion of intake forms to ensure that they are all completed and not inadvertently missed.
