Description of Request: The Doctor would like for Diagnostic Test Results that he adds himself to the med info in chart, not to go to his desktop to be viewed as he has already viewed them when entering.
This would only be when the provider is entering the test result for himself.
Requested Steps to define spec: Doctor logs into emr and into a patient chart. he goes to med info, diagnostic tests and clicks add and adds a test result assigned to himself. now the test result goes to his desktop and requires him to mark as viewed to get off the desktop.
Expected Result: If the provider is who is logged in entering the test result, it would not go to the desktop. If needed, perhaps a checkbox could be added to the test result window, to indicate that this has been viewed by provider, so that it does not appear on the desktop.
Actual Result: shows up on desktop and he has to mark it as viewed, even though he actually already viewed it.
Impact on Workflow: more work to do (more clicks)
