last appointment fix
The last visit date is not truly the last visit. This is currently the last service date that a charge was entered for the patient. The last visit date should be the last visit. It's data needs to be derived from the appointment history not the list of charges. A finance charge entered when a statement is sent out is currently being recorded as the last visit. Please fix.

I suggest that last minute patient cancellations or no show remain on the schedule as cancelled.
We have a lot of last minute cancellations and becomes really hard later on to remember who are all the PTs that didn't show or cancelled. I know that you can view the PT's appointment history, but you need to remember who they are beforehand.

2. Create Test Patient
3. Go to Patient module
4. Click on Temp Patient List
5. Double-click on Patient

Ability to change patient phone numbers and email from appointment window
Would be helpful for practice to change patient's phone numbers and email address when making appointment. This would be especially helpful for those practices that are using AutoRemind and updated information can be sent to that eService.

Appointment Request - show future appt
When reviewing the Appointment Request window it would be nice to know or even see if a future appointment already exists. I find that a lot of the requests from providers come through after appointments were already made and the request is no longer needed. Even if I could right-click and go right to an appt inquiry search without having to memorize the acct number and look them up would be good.
Currently, the request is only accessible from the appt views so you have to bounce in and out of that and the appt inquiry windows without viewing both…7 votes -
Reverse vacations days more than 1 at a time
Description of Request: Client recently went in and ACCIDENTALLY made a provider out on vacation through 2015... Had to remove the vacation days 1 at a time... Even if a provider changes their 2 week vacation, would be nice to be able to highlight and remove a group of dates at 1 time.

Improve appointment confirmations by adding ways to denote what was done: Confirmed, Texted, LM, E-mailed, Confirmed with another, etc.

Schedule Report Identifying Minors
Include an identifying flag on the Schedule Report to identify when the patient is a minor so that the staff know that they need to speak with a parent/guardian.

Confidential Communication visible from Schedule Report
Add field to Scheduling Report to include a flag that indicates there is a "HIPAA Code" for that patient; at least as reminder that they need to check the patient demographics to see what the restriction is before making the confirmation call; have the report link back to the patient detail window to check rather than having to go somewhere else to look it up

Waiting List - pops up after "Change Appt" and "Delete"
Can we stop the waiting list from popping up every time we reschedule/delete an appt? If the waiting list is needed we would pull it up manually.

Quickly close the appointment history window
The escape button is quick key for exiting windows in PM. However, it doesn't work on the appointment history. This should be an easy fix for Micro.

patient letters mail merge fields
Add patient appointments field (next appt, last appt) as a mail merge field for individual patients letters (not just group mail merge letters as is now the case)
WORKFLOW: huge impact in cases where indiv letters need to be sent staff has to hand write the dates or create a group mail merge and delete the names of patients that are not needed on this list this can be cumbersome when creating letters for multiple dates... The field should just be available...
All field available for group mail merge documents/letters should also be available for individual patient letters (printed individually…

Location
Practices would like to be able to use color coding in the scheduler related to location. For example, holiday/vacation days show up in the calendar in red; practices would like to be able to change the colors of other days based on the location templated in the scheduler so by looking at the calendar users can tell what location a provider is at on certain days without having to open each day.

Improve tracking of appointments that have certain date restrictions/fields with options to view last date of specific procedures
To improve continuity of care - it would help to have visible while making appointments certain fields on the appointment screen that show when a patient had a type of appointment without having to move from the screen - i.e. a Medicare wellness.
And if an appointment type is set up - when selected - if the patient is requesting that type of appointment and it has not been the allowable time since the last visit - a pop up should alert the user with the info of how many days remain in the restriction. Have the ability to go back to the open slots search screen results once you have opened an appointment slot.
Have the ability to go back to the open slots search screen results once you have opened an appointment slot. Currently when I search for open slots, I get a list of open appointments. I double click the slot I think I want. If I change my mind and decide I need a different open slot, I am unable to go back to the search window. It would great to be able to close the open appointment and have the open slot search window still open with my latest search results there for me to review again.

Add responsible party's category available as a mail merge field for chargeslips. It is needed when a chargeslip is printed for a sub-account so user knows if the account is in collections.

The ability to print the list of outstanding appointments in the appointment request screen.
Practice managers want the ability to print the list at the end of each day to give to the staff and track who is leaving items in the appointment request lists. Right now you cannot do any reporting with these windows and excessive amounts of items are being left at the end of each business day1 vote
