  1. Add a way to organize diagnosis codes into groups.

    I would like to see a feature similar to the custom plan tabs on the assessment step where you could have tabs to organize groups of diagnosis codes. This would greatly help expedite searches.

  2. User date and time stamps

    Remove the printed by and date stamp on mail merge letters. Clients feel patients do not need to know who printed the letter. Remove the date and time stamp from the plan details on the encounter text, particularly on the revised encounters. Clients are complaining these dates are confusing and misleading.

  3. All comments on a forwarded attachment should be viewable

    All comments on a forwarded attachment should be included and able to be viewed by any and all users. This will "close the loop" on communication with users and with the patient when necessary. Currently the comments are not viewable by anyone other than the author and the user it was forwarded to.

  4. Empty Deleted Files Folder

    Add a practice setting for removing items from the Deleted Folder in DMS based on the timeline a practice chooses.

    We recently had errors and slowness in DMS and was told to clean up the deleted folder. An automatic timeline in which those items are deleted would help keep DMS running smoothly and prevent build up.

  5. Family History

    In the family history section, when adding a diagnosis, you can only add one at a time. It would be nice to select the family member (father) and then list his medical history. Then select another family member (mother) and list all of her medical history. This would significantly cut down on the amount of time it takes to fill out this section.

  6. Add 'Batch' option on Attachment screen

    If a 'Batch' option was added to the Attachment screen, it would be possible to batch items without having to go into Document Manager or opening up the document itself to batch it.

  7. addition to rules

    Add to the rule manager the option when refilling a prescription. If there is a patient that needs to come in before refilling a prescription, or if there is something that the provider needs to know before filling scrips for a patient (when the provider isn't in an encounter) it would be nice if there were an option for a pop up to give the provider that info.

  8. Display the patient Allergy when opening chart

    When opening a chart in EMR it would be Helpful for all physicians if the patients allergy is displayed where the date of birth and gender are or next to their name.

  9. Allow 5 Axis Diagnosis

    Allow the ability to organize diagnoses by the five axes which is standard in psychiatric care. Currently, the diagnoses are all grouped together which is ineffecient for a phsychiatric practice or a practice with psychiatric services.

  10. Form Encounter: to have an option to Review all the systems with a single click of one of the boxes.

    In ROS if we can click one box that would click every box for the section and then the physician could easily unclick the few that do not pertain to the patient instead of clicking every little box individually. Or to be able to preset the checked boxes.

  11. Please remove full name of logged-on user from footer when they print letters

    Description of Request: Currently, at least on versions below PMR 8.1, when a user writes and prints a letter from either the desktop or from within the patient chart, the full name of the user who is doing the printing appears in a footer at the lower right side of the page. The users at this practice have requested that the full name of the user be removed from the footer, as they just don't want their names present on this patient document.

    This is a duplicate item of another suggestion that was being voted on we have combined the items. HSMS internal reference id 17729 this suggestion will begin to be reviewed by product management, development, and services teams.

  12. diagnosis code update

    When the quarterly diagnosis code update happens, the system needs to update all rules that include codes like it. Or likewise, there needs to be a way for the users to know which codes have been updated so we can update our rules. Or, change the rules so that they are based on just a dx code not the descriptors attached to them.

  13. Screening & Prevention - Auto Apply/Refresh

    We have many S&P templates created with rules applied. What would be great would be if those would auto-apply/refresh based on the user preference when you start an encounter, open the patient monitor, or open a chart. We do not want to required staff to navigate to S&P section for that process to happen.

    The majority of the time a workflow starts in the Desktop on Scheduled Visits and the staff will either access the Patient Monitor or start the Encounter. Auto-refresh should happen then trigger looking at S&P and we would want those to catch all the updates that…

  14. Pack history calculator/report

    We would like a pack history calculator added to the medical calculators. Pack history is = packs of cigarettes smoked per day X number of years smoked. This outcome is needed to determine if the patient qualifies for lung cancer screening. If this calculator could also be located in the habits window, that would be extremely helpful, so they can input the results there.

  15. Encounter > Plan shifts cursor to top when deleting an item

    In the Encounter (using the Builder) under the Plan tab...

    If you have several sections like Procedures, Labs, etc and you delete something from one of the lower sections, it re-positions the cursor back up to the very top section. Can this be changed to position it in the section you were deleting from?

  16. Send and Attach Letters to Charts

    There are many instances where a practice can be sending a letter to a large amount of patients, such as a provider leaving. There is currently no way in the software to document a letter in a large amount of patient charts.

    If there was a way to create and attach a letter from the reports section or the group encounters section of the EMR, it would be very beneficial. This allows the clinic to use a mail merge letter and attach it to all the charts instead of doing it one by one.

  17. Add a Not Equal To option for reports

    A Not Equal To option is needed for all reports where a Equal To option is currently.
    Specifically a client was asking for this on a procedure report to see a list of patients who have not had a COVID-19 vaccine at their clinic. Ideally, this would be needed for any report where you wanted to see a list of patients who did not have a specific ICD-10, CPT, CVX codes etcetera in their chart. You could also use this for the Ethnicity, Family Size, Gender Identity, Marital Status, Race, etcetera fields to isolate an item you need to exclude.…

  18. Disable or Warn on "Request Sent" For Outbound Lab Orders with Interface

    For practices that have an outbound laboratory interface (e.g., LabCorp, Quest, etc.), it is required that the staff switch the status of the order to "Specimen Collected" in order to send the order electronically. However, even after numerous trainings occasionally, staff still switch the status to "Request Sent" thinking that the order will be sent electronically and, obviously, it will not. It would be great if the system would prevent this option from being selected for practices with these interfaces.   19. Next Appt. in Test Results/Desktop navigator

    The providers have requested a "next appointment" line in the Test Results tab under the desktop navigator. When reviewing their lab results here, it would be nice to know when the patients next appt. is so they know what kind of action to take in notifying the patient of there results. Right now they have to open the patient's chart to see this information. If there could be a Next Appt. line populate at the bottom in the preview pane, that would be wonderful!

  20. spell check

    It would be beneficial to have an appropriate spell check, not one that checks every single word, throughout the entire system, but specifically in the encounter section. The current spell check checks every single work in the encounter. It would be nice if the spell check only checked misspelled words. It would be even more helpful if the spellcheck was similar to a Word or Google document where it would underline in red if a word was misspelled. Thanks!
