Add ability to export folder content from DMS
In order to provider a patient with their records, we want to put this information on a CD. However, right now the only way to do this is to print the document to a PDF (which makes a separate file for each page in the document). This is time consuming and overly labor intensive. Please add a batch export option within the DMS folder to export the documents to a workstations folder.

For audtis, medical records and various reasons, users need to be able to export, batch, or print all DMS documents with one click. This allows the user to access and provide the entire patient chart when combined with the Medical Information Report.
I have an audit for 50 charts coming up soon. The Health Plan requires a digital copy of each chart. While printing the Medical Information Report is helpful, it doesn't contact any documents in the DMS. The Health Plan wants essentially everything including scanned x-rays, ultrasounds, EKG, specialist notes, etc.
For now, I will have to open each chart one by one and open each folder in the DMS one by one and batch or print (to PDF) each file. It's a very inefficient process. PLEASE HELP. We need to add an export DMS (all contents) feature and add "Batch All" and "Print All" buttons that capture ALL documents in the DMS.
The current Export chart feature DOES NOT capture DMS documents. This idea was originally posted by another user and received 10 votes a long time ago. I have re-posted it because I know a lot of users need this feature.
