  1. Drug Allergy

    Would it be possible to get the actual Drug Allergy moved to top of the warning list? We have noticed when a patient has a drug allergy it does reflect in the warning but sometimes it is all the way down the list of warnings and could possibly be overlooked.

    The sort is on the severity this will not/cannot be changed due to rx certifications, We will look into a secondary sort but I’m not sure if there is a logical priority of the different types. We are making some changes in the warnings in the next version

  2. Have separate expert settings for session/location profile.

    I have a provider requesting that they would like to have expert settings dictated by session profile. So if they switch locations they would have different items populated in the encounter wizard. is to have a “Profile” setup that is dictated from the location to which the user/provider is logged into. For instance, if the provider logs into location A, (s)he would have various settings (User Preferences > Encounter > “Default resoruces to perform plan items”) and expert settings configured to assign tasks to “User A”.   3. Approving multiple refill requests from a single patient

    We have a provider that would like to be able to approve multiple refill requests from a single patient at one time instead of approving them individually.

  4. Including "attachments" to the list of items that can be faxed from the patients chart

    When faxing from a patients chart, there are check boxes within the "Medical Information report" where you can choose what you want to fax out from the patients chart. At this time there is no check mark for the Attachments that are in the chart. It would be very helpful if we could include those as well. That's where some of the patient forms live and being able to include them when faxing a chart to a facility would be great!

  5. Patient portal opt-out

    The wording on the portal for health information opt-out is very misleading, and we want to request that it is changed to:

    "Would you like to block access to messages and health records?"

    Instead of:
    "Would you like to block the receipt of messages and health records?"

    This would be more inline with what is actually happening in the background. Ideally, it would be nice to have an option where the clinic can choose to block CDAs from going over if patients have opted out.

  6. Copy Encounter Type is not accurate

    When copying an encounter, the Type Column is not accurate. Currently the Type column lists all pre-encounters and encounters, but the description in the type column lists them all as "Encounter". I think the Type description should list "Encounter" and "Pre-Encounter" or should not show pre-encounters in this screen at all. See screen shots attached.

  7. Patient directives in an encounter template

    We would like a way to add patient directives to an encounter template we created so that any time we print a patient's encounter the patient's advanced directives are included in the report.

  8. turn off feature to unsign encounter when order changed

    In version 14 there is a new feature that unsigns the encounter if an order is changed if it has been created in the encounter. Unsigning the encounter is causing issues for the providers. Encounters that are months old are all of sudden unsigned if we have to change an order. This is causing extra work for the providers to resign encounters that have already been billed and long finished. We would like to turn this feature off.

  9. Add ability to resize the Form Template Builder Window

    The Form Template Builder window is used to create custom forms. It has a "preview" button to show you real time progress and how the form will look as you make changes. However, while you are creating the form, there is now way to make the window larger. It's not efficient to have the window default to a size that make you scroll horizontally and vertically while working on the template. Please add the functionality to adjust the window size so the extra scrolling up or down is avoided.

  10. Have the ability to create a workflow or Wizard for intake form completion or at least the ability to group them together.

    We would love to have the ability to create a wizard or workflow for the completion of intake forms to ensure that they are all completed and not inadvertently missed.

  11. Fix Return to Encounter Button

    When in the Billing Prep window of the EMR, users would like the Return to Encounter button be grayed out or removed from the window if MicroMD says the users should not be going back to the encounter. Another option would be for the user to be taken to the encounter when they click the button. They are saying it is causing confusion when it does not open the encounter up when they click it.

  12. Patient Portal Reporting.

    Clients would like more reporting functionality from the Updox patient portal site. One specific report that would be useful is the number of patient portal accounts created within a year, month, or day. Currently if the data is not readily available a call has to be made to MicroMD support (ticket 34892). Then the report criteria is sent to Updox to retrieve the data and send back.

  13. Lock phone messages once marked as completed.

    Clients would like an option to lock a phone message after it has been marked as done. Once locked a user would no longer be able to reply to any message within that chain.

  14. Add the ability to sort Encounters by Plan ID in Chart Reports

    For practices that treat patients with multiple plan sets such as Workers Comp, Auto Accidents/Personal Injuries as well as Medical Insurance, if a Records Request is received from the BWC or an attorney for records exclusive to the plan set. When in Chart Reports, the practice needs the ability to sort encounters created with a particular plan set.

  17. Ability to create check mark forms for Patient History

    We would prefer an easier way (maybe a form encounter) to create history. I know that we have the capability to import history from form filled in portal, but not all patients have access to the internet forms.

    Staff members waster a lot of time capturing history in the way we capture past Medical History of a patient. Please provide for a custom form capability (with check mark capabilities that we can default to certain values) to be able to capture Past Medical and Social History of a patient.

  18. Add advanced reporting and rule triggers/activation for the Document Manager

    The Document Manger, or place where all your scans go : ) ....needs to have a reporting feature in administration that can pull patients with empty or "non-empty" folders.

    Implementation - Create reporting that would allow you to pull patient lists based on empty or "non-empty" folders in the document manager. Example, Bill at Dr. Cool's pulls a report that gives him all the patients that have (or do not have) a file in "dynamic studies" or "refused consent" or whatever generic folder or custom folder that exists in the document manager.

  19. lab order

    We run our own labs in office for many of our patients. However, if labs are ordered and then the patient comes in later to get them drawn, I would like a way to import the order into the encounter for billing purposes. Right now, someone would either have to manually enter the labs into the encounter and then make sure the create order button isn't created, or not enter them at all, and when they are billed, the biller has to open the order to make sure that the codes are billed.   20. Have the ability to enter a symptom in multiple ROS in a Cliniguide template

    Add ability to add more than one symptom to multiple ROS Categories in EMR and need to be able to use “None except as mentioned in the HPI” to multiple ROS Categories.
    Tools > Encounter Tools > CliniGuides > create/edit a template > ROS > add any symptom to into template under each separate ROS category
    Expected Result: should be able to apply a symptom to multiple ROS without getting an error "The specific item is already contained in the list."
