Phone and Mail Messeges
It would be nice to be able to minimize a phone and or a mail message. If you start a message and get interrupted there is no way to save the message. You have to close the message then start over from the beginning.

From the mail screen, it would be nice to be able to automatically include anything from the chart reports screen. For example, if you are in an order and want to send it to someone via DSM. Now you have to print to mail. This opens up the mail screen and attaches that order. If you want to include the office note as well you would have to have already saved that to a PDF to attach it to the message. Or if you wanted to include labs results, vitals etc. THis all has to be done before the message…

Have separate expert settings for session/location profile.
I have a provider requesting that they would like to have expert settings dictated by session profile. So if they switch locations they would have different items populated in the encounter wizard. is to have a “Profile” setup that is dictated from the location to which the user/provider is logged into. For instance, if the provider logs into location A, (s)he would have various settings (User Preferences > Encounter > “Default resoruces to perform plan items”) and expert settings configured to assign tasks to “User A”. Approving multiple refill requests from a single patient
We have a provider that would like to be able to approve multiple refill requests from a single patient at one time instead of approving them individually.

Duplicated orders
When multiple templates are loaded or an encounter copied, then a template loaded the system applies all labs/procedures, it should be smart enough to know to not duplicated procedure, or at least send a warning that you have duplicate items.

Not Allow Users to Save to Password Protected DMS Folders
Description of Request: There is a current function in the EMR DMS that allows users to password protect folders. The password stops uses from viewing the contents of the folder, but users are still permitted to save to folder and view attachments from charts that are saved in that password protected folder.
Nuestra would like to see the password prompt show up when trying to open the folder in DMS (as it does now), when trying to save attachments to the folder from the EMR Desktop or patient chart or when viewing attachments from the patient chart that are located…

Including "attachments" to the list of items that can be faxed from the patients chart
When faxing from a patients chart, there are check boxes within the "Medical Information report" where you can choose what you want to fax out from the patients chart. At this time there is no check mark for the Attachments that are in the chart. It would be very helpful if we could include those as well. That's where some of the patient forms live and being able to include them when faxing a chart to a facility would be great!

Patient portal opt-out
The wording on the portal for health information opt-out is very misleading, and we want to request that it is changed to:
"Would you like to block access to messages and health records?"
Instead of:
"Would you like to block the receipt of messages and health records?"This would be more inline with what is actually happening in the background. Ideally, it would be nice to have an option where the clinic can choose to block CDAs from going over if patients have opted out.

Copy Encounter Type is not accurate
When copying an encounter, the Type Column is not accurate. Currently the Type column lists all pre-encounters and encounters, but the description in the type column lists them all as "Encounter". I think the Type description should list "Encounter" and "Pre-Encounter" or should not show pre-encounters in this screen at all. See screen shots attached.
1 voteThe Filter option gives users options of what shows in the summary window. When the encounter is pre encounter and the option to show is checked they will show as type preencounter.

Add active flag in insurance plan manager
When changing an insurance status in PM from Active to Inactive or deleting the plan, the customer would like for this status change to update the Insurance Manager in the EMR. Add an active flag in the EMR plan details to hide inactive plans when searching in the insurance manger.
Expected Result: Add flag in the EMR plan details which in the Insurance Manager in EMR to reflect changes made in the PM when activating/inactivating insurances.

We would like a way to add patient directives to an encounter template we created so that any time we print a patient's encounter the patient's advanced directives are included in the report.

Show Procedure Codes in EMR Manager
When creating a Practice Preferred list, it would be extremely helpful if the procedure codes showed up for Plans and Labs either at the beginning or end of the text or appeared in hover text. As of right now, the individual who is making the list does not know what labs are the correct ones since all that is displayed is text.

turn off feature to unsign encounter when order changed
In version 14 there is a new feature that unsigns the encounter if an order is changed if it has been created in the encounter. Unsigning the encounter is causing issues for the providers. Encounters that are months old are all of sudden unsigned if we have to change an order. This is causing extra work for the providers to resign encounters that have already been billed and long finished. We would like to turn this feature off.

Add ability to resize the Form Template Builder Window
The Form Template Builder window is used to create custom forms. It has a "preview" button to show you real time progress and how the form will look as you make changes. However, while you are creating the form, there is now way to make the window larger. It's not efficient to have the window default to a size that make you scroll horizontally and vertically while working on the template. Please add the functionality to adjust the window size so the extra scrolling up or down is avoided.

Patient Lookup Button
When searching for a patient in Scheduled Visits, Portal Updates, Orders, etc., once you enter a patient name or select a patient from the search box, you can no longer use the lookup button. We would like for the lookup button to continue to work after a patient name as been selected and without having to clear out the patient name.

Patient Portal Passwords stored with a hash
For the Patient Portal passwords to be stored with some type of hash in the database itself. When an error is displayed during the publishing, the password is displayed in plain text.
Expected Result: For the person querying the table not to see plain text passwords or the password to should not be displayed in plain text in an error message

Have the ability to create a workflow or Wizard for intake form completion or at least the ability to group them together.
We would love to have the ability to create a wizard or workflow for the completion of intake forms to ensure that they are all completed and not inadvertently missed.

Fix Return to Encounter Button
When in the Billing Prep window of the EMR, users would like the Return to Encounter button be grayed out or removed from the window if MicroMD says the users should not be going back to the encounter. Another option would be for the user to be taken to the encounter when they click the button. They are saying it is causing confusion when it does not open the encounter up when they click it.

Prevent Negative / Absent ROS Items From Publishing to Portal
Many times, items are reviewed by the provider that are marked as "Negative" or "No" or "Absent" for a patient. Even though these are marked as such, when the item(s) is published to the Patient Portal, it only shows that the item is "Reviewed" (and honestly, when the patients look at this, they sometimes don't understand exactly what this means). Some of our practices have experienced patients calling because they show that "homocidal" and "suicidal" ideations have been reviewed on their charts. The patients have actually called the practices upset and concerned over these items being published.

Patient Portal Reporting.
Clients would like more reporting functionality from the Updox patient portal site. One specific report that would be useful is the number of patient portal accounts created within a year, month, or day. Currently if the data is not readily available a call has to be made to MicroMD support (ticket 34892). Then the report criteria is sent to Updox to retrieve the data and send back.
