Where it current states LongTerm Medications in Encounter Reports and other information being sent out to referring providers, we would prefer it said current medications as that more accurately reflects the information being sent.

Pharmacy Information Display on Scheduled Visits Screen
It would be very useful if the current pharmacy information displayed when the patient is highlighted on the Scheduled Visits screen in EMR. Currently, the chart must be opened to see this information. In a busy office, and because many patients change pharmacies so often, it would be very useful to see it before having to open the chart.

More Characters Allowed in Quick Text Areas
Allow more characters in the Quick Text for comments areas when in an encounter. These areas would include the QT for comments in the Assessment and the QT for Impressions. Specialty practices, such as orthopedics, have a lot of information that needs to go in these areas, and the Quick Text areas would work great, but the QT is limited in characters and they cannot fit everything they need.

Add "Annotate" button to the "Add Procedure Results" so techs can annotate when "Performing" Diagnostic Orders
Currently, the only way a Radiolody/Ultrasound tech can annotate while "Performing" a Diagnostic "Order" is to record the results in the "Add Proceedure Results" window, then open the encounter, and annotate from the encounter window. This is very cumbersome in a realistic workflow environment and has resulted in duplicate encounters. In some cases techs have accidentally opened a second encounter for a patients single visit.

Allow users to change the cursor.
While it might not make a difference to those using a large monitor or desk top; many providers find it difficult to see the small white arrow against the white back ground. Allowing users to change not only the size but the color as well would help the providers to use the system more effectively.

Complexity of Decision Making in the encounter level
When addressing the Complexity of Decision Making in the encounter level calculator you are not able to choose more than one option when using the check boxes under the problems/options step. Do properly calculate the level of an encounter you need to be able to choose more than one option. A patient may have established problems that they are being seen for and the provider finds another new problem during the visit that they also address. Providers use these options to garner points toward their encounter level and if the system doesn't allow them to make more than one choice…

Pre-Encounters Display in Desktop > Encounters
Include Pre-Encounters in the Unsigned List on the Desktop or allow a User Preference to be turned on that displays them to keep from having to flip between filters. In Addition to that there needs to be a restriction that prevents having unsigned Pre-Encounters in the manager to prevent staff from continuing to have high unsigned encounter rates.

Give users the ability to edit the Patient field and the Subject field on Reminders
Give users the ability to edit the Patient field and the Subject field on Reminders. This was brought to our attention due to typing errors and the desire not to have misspellings on the patient charts.

allowing users to create attachment types and then having MicroMD more efficiently display
Better organization and more efficient processing of Attachments - allowing users to create attachment types and then having more efficiently display the attachments due. (See attachment for details). This would allow the client to quickly see particular types of documents and respond to groups in order of importance OR based on time needed to process (allowing them to work on documents that are quick between visits and save lengthy documents for a better time).

Admin Report Showing All Pre-Encounters
Description of Request: From Encounter Admin Reports, it would be nice to be able to run a report showing all pre-encounters, by provider. Pre-Encounters can't easily be managed and tracked by an Office Manager or Administrator because only the User logged in can see them by changing the filters under Encounters on their desktops. This may lead to missed or inaccurate documentation in a patients medical record.
Requested Steps: (Administration > reports > encounters (admin) > standard > (Report of All Pre-Encounters)
Expected Result: see above
Actual Result: no report available
Impact on Workflow: manual report creation after logging in…2 votesClosed low votes 2 in 6 yrs

Report for Phone Messages
It would be helpful if the
system could generate that report for us. In order to
do that, we would need a time stamp for the Status
box at the bottom of the message box. It already has
a date but some urgent messages require response
within hours, not days. Therefore we would need the
report to be able to document the turnaround time
within hours. In summary, we need a report that shows
the number of hours from the time a telephone
message was taken until the status is changed to
completed.3 votesClosed low votes 3 in 5 yrs
