  1. Print Patient Detail - Allow print of group of patient details based on appointments for day

    Print Patient Info from patient Detail allows you to print out a sheet to have patient verify if any information has changed from prior visits. Practices have requested that they would like the capability to print this sheet as a batch instead of having to print this separately for each patient.

  2. Inactive Insurance Plan

    When updating a patient, and the patient has an inactive plan, pop-up a message identifying the inactive plan ID so the user can correct the insurance.

    Additionally, create a Utility that will allow you to transfer patients with an inactive plan ID to another plan ID. Ensure the utility allows you to select all/select individual patients in the event some billing still needs to be done with the old plan.

  3. Patient Category: Deceased

    need way to mark the ‘deceased’ category as “special” the way it can mark the collections category, etc…, so that when a patient is marked deceased all of the appointments and recalls for the patient are cancelled. If the status is changed from ‘deceased’ to something else, due to error or resurrection, then the appointments and recalls should probably be un-cancelled. Setting the patient’s ‘death_date’ should probably have the same effect.

    For practices that select not to see minor patients, it would be nice to have a setting where you could block users from adding patients that are under 18.

  5. When updating default plan set in Plan Sets tab, eliminate need to also update Default Plan Set in Cases Tab

    This client had a patient with multiple plan sets. The current Default plan set had been terminated (termination dates were present on the plan). We then proceeded to change the Default plan set in the Plan Set tab to the active plans. Then as a second step, we had to go to this patient's Cases tab and update the Default Plan Set field to match the plan set we updated in the Plan Set tab. If we don't do this second step, then when patient posts charges, the new Default plan set does NOT show at the top of the…

  6. "Death Date" Not Audited In Patient Log

    When a user sets a "Death Date" in a patient's "Detail" tab, the Patient Log does not reflect this information. This makes it difficult to troubleshoot issues with patients being listed as "Deceased" in EMR an issue once the information crosses the interface as it cannot be tracked down to an individual user making this change.

  8. date of birth in patient window

    When in the patient window, you must enter in the date of birth to search for a patient more than once. Sometimes it brings up several different codes and then you have to exit completely out of the program and sign back in.

  9. pregnancy module

    the new pregnancy module in v15 allows for place of delivery but it is mapped only to service facility or you can free text. both of these options will result in a lot of errors. MicroMD support suggested adding the hospitals to our service facilities but we cannot chance charges being entered under a facility that is not ours, and free text always gets messy and allows for typos. This area should at least be mapped to the referring provider section

  10. The ability to copy patient notes from the PM patient detail.

    Similar to how you can highlight and copy text on a website, the ability to highlight text in patient notes is crucial. In PM you can create patient notes and modify those notes if allowed. However you can't highlight the note text (like highlighting text on a website) if you don't have the ability to edit the note. A lot of our billing personnel need to be able to do this, (highlighting other user-made notes that are not their own). Some copy important information for emailing other staff, and our billing users need to be able to copy insurance information…

  11. An area is needed to scan patients prescription card.

    with prior authorizations happening more often it would be nice to have a scanned copy in the chart with their insurance cards (than hold on the phone with a pharmacy to get the necessary information) Especially with Medicare recipients who can choose their pharmacy benefit.

    Again, I would like to bring up for review the ability to merge patients in the PM like we do in EMR. I know it was brought up before and had 15 votes before it was closed. I attempted to get a quote from the third party vendor, but was unable to talk to them once I reported that we get our support direct.

  14. Carry the zip+4 information to the sub-account when the .0 account is updated

    Is there any reason why when updating the address on a .0 account the zip +4 does not carry over to the sub accounts?

    For example if I’m make an update to the address on the .0 account and enter a new street address, city zip & zip + 4, when saving PM will ask if you wish to update the sub account, after answering yes to do so and checking the sub account everything updates with the exception of the zip+4.

    I verified it behaves this way in the most recent version 10.0.1.19 EBF2.
