Copy documents directly into EMR without printing and then scanning
If we need to post a document into the chart from a website (such as ASCVD risk calculator, etc.) we have to print it from the website, then scan and then input into EMR in the patients chart. Why not eliminate all the unnecessary steps??

I agree. We utilize a pdf printer in our office so we do not waste paper and toner printing something just to scan it.

Print to a PDF, via CutePDF etc... will eliminate the paper.

thank you for your suggestion. There are means to reduce the necessity of printing the page then having to scan by either saving to a file or linking to the page. Software support should be contacted to assist in the steps. FYI some website will not allow the saving or linking to their site and is under their control.
