Add a button to collapse RxHub medication entries in RxHub window
Var Name: Main Street Medical
Client Name: Gregory Machiko, M.D.
Contact Name: Jim Popp
Description of Request: When you open the RxHub medications window, the medications open in "expanded" mode, showing all the detail of fill dates. We understand this was a Surescripts requirement for certification, but it makes the RxHub meds area difficult to use if you are using it to add meds to LTM or Other meds in the patient chart by pressing the LTM and Other buttons. The expanded mode makes you scroll through a lot of space to see all them medication line entries. If you collapse the nodes to show only the medication line entries, the first time you use the LTM or Other button, the meds all expand again. Could you add a button to show the medication entries in collapsed mode, and make collapsed mode persist if the users use the LTM or Other buttons to add the meds to the patient chart? The expanded mode makes the feature of adding to the chart by pressing the LTM and Other buttons hard to use. There is too much scrolling through the length of the expanded list.
Requested Steps to define spec: Add button to collapse list, and make the collapsing of the list a preference that persists if the user wants it. It would make using the list easier, particularly when adding meds to the patient chart using the LTM and Other buttons.
Expected Result: List can be collapsed and remains collapsed.
Actual Result: List displays as expanded, and prefers to go back to expanded even if the user collapses all nodes manually.
Impact on Workflow: Having the collapsed mode would allow quick use of the list to add meds to patient chart, much faster than is allowed when having to scroll through and look for the medication line entries when in expanded mode.

Thank you for the suggestion however this can not be done due to certification of the application.
