We have found that scheduling in the EMR via the Appt Book is much more user friendly than the PM is. This is largely due the fact that we are a behavioral health provider and our providers schedule their own appts.

We would like to have:

1. The ability to color code appt classifications in the EMR like in the PM.
2. A recurring appt button/function in the EMR for patients who are seen at the same day and time every week.
3. The ability for providers to view their appt books on their phones.
4. The ability to have all appts associated with a clinic and department to dump into one clinic-department appt book for staff like a receptionist, MA, Nurse or other staff that interact with all patients regardless of which provider the patient is seeing.
5. The ability to print a list of one patient's appointments to give to the patient.
6. The EMR appt book has the AWESOME option of selecting "non-patient" for appts that are non-patient. However, when printing the provider's appts for the day the non-patient appt description doesn't show up on the print out. We would like it to say the same thing that shows on the actual appt book.
7. The ability to schedule the same appt for multiple providers. Such as when an entire treatment team needs to meet with the patient at the same time - the ability to add the appointment to all provider's schedules in the same process.
8. The ability to send appt invites similar to Outlook.
9. Appointment reminder pop-ups like in Outlook.
