When a user prints an order for an In-House custom lab panel, make the names of the constituent panels print on the order
Currently, if a user enters a custom lab panel in the EMR Manager (example: System = In-House, Custom Lab Panel Name= "Follow-Up Diabetes", Constituent Panels= 1. Basic Metabolic Panel, 2. HbA1C). If you create an order and print the order, what prints is "Follow-Up Diabetes". The practice would like the following to print: "1. Basic Metabolic Panel, 2. HbA1C". The reason: This feature (printing all constituent panels and tests) would allow them to enter the order through the EMR and save it there, and print a copy and give it to the patient to take to the Lab.
Requested Steps to define spec: Lab Order from EMR must print not just the Custom Panel Name field, but the constituent panels and tests making up the custom panel.
Expected Result: Order shows all tests contained within the named custom lab panel.
Actual Result: Currently only the name entered for the custom lab panel in the EMR Manager (Panel Name field) prints on the order.
Impact on Workflow: This would allow them to enter orders for labs in the plan of an encounter (or in the chart outside an encounter), and let the practice give only the lab order slip to the patient to have them take it to a draw center to get the lab done.
