There are some procedure codes that only use a specific diagnosis code. I have not been able to pinpoint in MicroMd where you can hard code that when you post X Procedure Code it automatically links or adds X diagnosis code. I was thinking perhaps a good place to add this feature is under Explosion Codes.
The system allows you to link modifiers automatically to CPT codes but not diagnosis codes.
