Meaningful Use Reports - "Last Updated" to Include Provider
When in the Administration > Administrative Panel > "Objective Measure Calculations" AND "Clinical Quality Measures", if a report was previously ran, it lists the "Last Updated" date along with the date range that was last queried. However, it does not list the provider(s) which were selected during the previous query, effectively rendering this information useless in a practice with more than one provider.

portal forms
It would be great if there were pre-loaded forms on the portal that the practice could edit to meet their practice needs rather than having to create an entire form as it isn't a very user friendly or quick process
1 voteThank you for the suggestion however there is a need for further examples it is not specific enough to know what forms you may be describing. The vendor does have some forms available please work with your support representative for the vendor to have them loaded for your practice.

Add SSN to Patient Demographic Report
Practice is required by local hospital to send SSN with Demographics for MRI referral. The Practice has to print a Patient Info Sheet out of the PM to get this information causing extra work. Suggest adding SSN to EMR Patient Demographic Report.

Left Justify the Diagnosis List in templates
When you load a template and go to the assessment tab, the preloaded dx are not left justified any more. I think that this is due to the long descriptions from ICD 10. Could we have the option to have middle or left justifying in this field.

Less hard coding, more flexible subjective language in note
If there was less hard coding in the chief complaint/. History of present illness area the notes would read better when using an overall HPI by text/Dragon. I think with a little tweaking we could make this a lot better. Maybe a "note paper" that you click on that would activate an HPI box like the impression part of the note.

Generalized Anxiety Disorder Assessment (GAD7) Tool
It would be highly useful to include the GAD7 tool within the EMR. Currently, practices have to create an encounter template or a administrative form in order to capture this data.
Thoughts are:
1) To place this tool within the EMR so that it can be added from the encounter.
2) Populate the tool with discrete data.
3) System should sum the totals of each item and calculate the total score for the patient/visit.
4) Be able to graph the scores for the patient across multiple visits (similar to labs or vitals).

Comments in OB Care Record should print
Comments entered in the OB Care Record window needs print when the Antepartum Form is printed.

auto-fill in date in vision screening and other screenings
There should be a default date of today on all date fields in the EMR. The date of the vision screening is blank and if it is not filled in, there is no way to tell when it was done.

signing multiple labs
With the latest update, there is an option to sign multiple charts at a time. We wanted to see if we could get enhancement to sign multiple visit tests at one time. This would be for convenience the same way as signing off on the charts. In an urgent care they read the results to us, but we don't always have the time to go back in each chart and click off "mark as viewed", so later we have to go back through results one by one and mark them as viewed. Lock an open Interfax Document so others cannot open/edit/assign to chart
Multiple users have access to inbound Interfaxed images, but only one user should be permitted to be in the document at a given time. User A. assigning images/pages to patient(s) chart
User B. attempting to open same document

The demographics tab should list all CPT's for which patient's plan requires a precertification from the table in PM
The EMR should pull the CPT's that require precert out of PM and list those on the patient's demographics tab in EMR according to their plan. We spend a lot of time and paper printing this list every time a plan changes their policies we have to print new lists.

Request to Remove comments from Flag column from printed version of View Grouped (Labs)

Add Prenatal Care Visit Filters to select or deselect Current Prenatal Visits
Currently prenatal visits do not have a filter to display only current pregnancy prenatal visits. It would be very helpful for the provider to filter out past prenatal visits. Currently there are all together and it gets confusing for them when a patient delivered and a month later is back for new pregnancy. Filtering out the previous pregnancy will be great to avoid mistakes.

EMR lock screen
It would help if on the lock screen it said who was logged in to a terminal. We have problems with accounts getting locked due to the wrong password being put it because something thinks that they were the last one to log in to a terminal and it was someone else.

Flag for prescription requested in encounter
Currently if the assistant/scribe is working on an encounter on behalf of a provider, she can enter a medication in the medication step; however, it will be marked as "requested" until the provider reviews it and submits it to the pharmacy. I understand the need for the provider to be the one to submit the medication, but if he or she does not log in to sign the note within a short period of the patient's visit, the patient often gets to the pharmacy before the prescription does.

'Other instructions' do not print in the print list for Medications
Currently if a prescription has 'other instructions' added, they will not print if you click on the Print List in the medication section of the Medical Information tab. Currently you can only see the 'other instructions' if you print from Medical Information report and the Patient Care Plan.

Prompt for creation of related elements in Stage 2 Core Measure #15
For Stage 2 Core Measure 15, physicians are required to produce a referral order, complete a transition of care (out) and provide a summary of care. All three of these then must be provided in one of three ways, physically, through direct email or through a HIE.
Since in MicroMD only the physicians can do this in order for the system to calculate the reports and support staff cannot assist with these tasks, we are proposing the following enhancement:
When a referral is ordered from the plan step of an encounter, the system should prompt:

compounding pharmaceuticals
There are certain set pharmaceuticals that we order for compounding purposes. I suggest an addition so that there is a quick and efficient way to not only order these from the EMR, but to document these in the patient's med list. Right now we are having to use a paper scrip from the compounding pharmacy and then scanning it into the DMS. There is no good way to document the patient's med list that this was prescribed.
