  1. print future appointments in PM

    We currently use appointment cards to give patients when they check out. We would like to be able to print the future appointments from the PM instead of hand writing them.

  2. Manual posting of Medicare sequestration

    Request: Allow the Medicare sequestration amount to go to the line level adjustments when payments are manually posted. If not caught, the secondary claim is invalid in the clearinghouse and causes CAS segment errors.

    Impact on Workflow: clean claims, reduction in time spent fixing claims allowing staff to attend to other issues.

  3. Auto flag patients with same last name

    Have a flagging system like Cerners to auto flag when we have patients with the same last name so we can recognize the patients faster and not have any mix ups.

  4. Auto Payment Posting Report check secondary plan on crossover

    When autoposting, check the payer id of the plan that the file says is being crossed over to the payer id of the secondary plan in the plan sets screen. If the payor id's are different, maybe a message could print next to "Crossed Over:" that the payors are different. Some practices are getting incorrect secondary information (especially Medicaid plans). Impact to workflow: claims are not being sent to correct secondary plan and practice does not know until Open Claims report is run.

  5. Allow multiple Patient Category''s per patient

    When in the Patient Detail window, we would like to be able to assign a patient to more than one "Category" to a patient. The category can be used to allow “flashing” and blocking of appointment creations in the PM and sometimes there is a need for a patient to be in multiple categories for this and tracking.

  6. Mark up Daily View Schedule to show at a glance if a patient charge is posted or not.

    Allow users to view a schedule to see if a particular appointment was posted or to see who was not posted for a calendar day and have this same icon display on the EMR Scheduled visits. Practice need a way to reconcile appointments with charges actually being posted. Additionally, add this as a Status to the Appointment status report (show all appointments that were posted - show appointments not posted).

  7. Add data fields to record deductible, deductible met and copays for multiple levels of service.

    on Plan Set tab, per insurance, add data fields to record deductible, deductible met with a date field, and copays for multiple levels of service.

    Specialists will have varying copays based on office visit or procedure performed

    This would provide ease of access and quick review to office staff who are scheduling patients and educating them in advance of their financial responsibility.

  9. Minors

    It would be nice to have the ability to identify via a report of patients who are a minor with no responsibly party listed on the account. On the opposite side another report to show patients who are now an adult who have a responsibly party listed.

  10. Ability to track who enters, deletes or edits recalls

    We enter 300-400 recalls a month. Sometimes there are mistakes and we cannot track the user to provide additional training. It would be VERY helpful if under "Patient Log" in the "Patient Detail" screen it would tell you who entered, inactivated, deleted a recall, etc. by listing it as it does now when demographics are updated. If not there, then maybe a 'user' column in the recall area itself to help identify who is making mistakes. We bring patients back for cancerous polyps, so it's extremely important to get these entered correctly. Thank you!

  11. Make Change Responsibility easier to use

    Have the box to Rem Plan or Remember Plan come up the first time you hit Change Responsibility instead of having to hit it twice. Or, have Patient be an option when you hit edit claim and take away the Change Responsibility all together.

  12. Mobile App

    Create an App that integrates with MicroMD where patients can request an appointment and update demographics, with the approval of the staff. Also, allow them to have the availability from the app to log on to the secure chart portal and pay a bill.

  13. SEPARATE AREA FOR UNAPPLIED MONEY

    There should be a separate area to post Unapplied Money which it doesn’t pertain to an actual sequence because customers Pre-collect money for many reasons such as for uncovered procedures, cosmetic procedures, ineligibility or patient just want to have a credit instead of getting a refund.
    When a patient pays and there is no particular date of service, there should be a separate area for this Unapplied Money/Credit, after patient has amount due, user should be able post directly from the Unapplied Money/Credit

  14. Re-order Charges from Pending Charge List

    Need the ability to re-order items that cross from the "pending charges" into the Charges/Payments screen. There are a number of carriers and UDS option that require things to be certain order. This prevents the "pending charges" option from being an effective tool currenlty since you cannot order the item (drag and drop things up and down would be nice) instead of deleting and re-adding.

  15. Calendar to show red on closed days

    If a provider week does not include Day setup on certain days which indicates a "Closed" day, also update the calendar to a RED date like the Holiday/Vacation turns the calendar red.

  16. Clipboard - User default

    Allow the user to default the clipboard filter and it sticks unless changed.

    Currently, you filter it to "user" or by location it is not retained. If the appt view is closed (or clipboard is closed) it reverts back to GLOBAL and removed the location.

    Description of Request: When you update a CoPay for a plan in Maintainability->Plan, the CoPays need to be updated for all patients that have that plan applied.

    Requested Steps to define spec: Update a CoPay for a plan in Maintainability->Plan, prompt the user would they like to update all CoPays for all patients.

    Expected Result: For all patients’ copays to be updated

    Actual Result: You have to manually touch every patient chart with the plan attached to it

  18. Rights to lock specific fields.

    In the attached screenshot the permissions for patient is expanded. In the detail subfolder there would be another subfolder called lock. Within that lock folder any drop down and/or check box field could be selected to lock. For instance if the category drop down field was selected as locked that user or group would not have permission to make any changes to that field. By default the lock would be blank and all users would be able to make changes.

  19. Need the ability to scan referral documents to the planned visits screen

    Having the ability to scan referral documents coming into a practice in the planned visit screen and for the system to be able to automatically print those corresponding documents along with the claim form could be a huge time saver for practices.
